1. "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way."
2. You mean it's not due to pediphillac lust after the underaged girls?
3. This may be so, but asking the denizens of Macrossworld to be patient, wait, and see before going off on a rant is impossible
4. Better that Prime than this one. Or this one, for that matter:
5. It has. They're called Death & Rebirth.
6. Hey, you can't make the Silverhawks worse than they already are. 427961 Better Silverhawks gets that treatment than Visionaries, I say.
7. I dunno about that. My friends and I had more fun playing the first Descent game then we ever did TIE Fighter. Of course, we were just out of elementary school at the time...
8. I'm still waiting for Visionaries to come out on DVD.
9. I'll take "A Clue" for $600 please, Captain.
10. First off, the vast majority of plastics are immune to biological effects; that's why they're used in your body. That being said, it's possible to modify some plastics so they're biodegradable (my company does that for our doggie bags, so both the bag and the dog waste within will decompose in compost piles). As it's been said before, it's contact with oxygen and UV radition in sunlight that causes the yellowing of plastics. I keep meaning to take some pics of the rollstock in my factory, you can clearly see where air was exposed to some parts and not others. So no, rubbing alcohol wouldn't do anything to prevent yellowing.
11. You forgot about the atmosphere-controlled environment. No wonder your toys yellowed
12. Sounds like your typical zombie movie, then
13. ach, no!!! It took me forever to get Mink's "hueh!! hueh!!!"" outa my mind after I saw it years ago, now you just had to go and bring it all back 424075 Every time I see "Dragon Half" I immediatly think of "Dragon Knight". That's good due to the tagline alone: "Chivarly is dead. Meet the man who killed it."
14. The movie itself was pretty good. At no point did I feel the urge to hit the mythical fast-forward button that I do during so many other movies. My only problem is with Gong Li. Man, she was horribly mis-cast. I just couldn't buy into her being this tough-as-nails buisness chick, and then suddenly she's being nice-nice and all that other stuff. It just didn't work for me. But I was most impressed by Jamie Foxx. He had all the style and attitude just oozing out of every pore and look. As for the ending, I could see a few threads that could be picked up for a sequel, but I won't mention them here as this is a spoiler-free thread.
15. That's another really messed-up show. I still wonder what the creators were smoking at the time they came up with that. Not to say that it's bad, mind you. Just really, really, really weird. With great mecha designs.
16. One of my favourite "obscure" anime titles has to be Detonator Orgun. Given its age, the animation has held up remarkably well to today's titles, the plot is original and even throws in a few surprises here and there. The mecha designs are inventive and the battle scenes are always enjoyable.
17. All these comments are compairing it to Heat. What if I didn't like Heat that much? Think I'll still enjoy Miami Vice?
18. The verdict is wait and see, and then pester Toynami enough to convince them to make the Beta. Their email address is available from their website.
19. Except that there are some people out there that actually enjoy the Daredevil movie...
20. "Oh, blagh" is the only phrase that springs to mind when I see that. One of the most iconic parts of Jin Roh is the Protect Gear, and it's barely even referenced in this short.
21. On these boards? Yeah, right.
22. My first RPG. That was a fun game.
23. I have. It's on this out-of-the-way place called MacrossWorl- oh, wait. Nevermind.
24. That's why I'm hoping we won't see Venom in this film. This film can be the set-up for the symbiote bonding with and then leaving Spider-Man as well as setting up Eddie Brock's deep-seated hatred for Parker. That way we could jump into movie #4 with Venom and not have to worry about wasting time on a backstory. That's my problem with X-Men 3, and the soon-to-be-coming-out Transformers and GI Joe movies. So many characters to squeeze into a two-hour movie as well as plot and drama.
25. I don't think we'll be seeing Venom per se in this film. Perhaps as a set-up for the next one, but probably not in this one.
