I like the costume design of the latter, the black body suit with the vents, but I vastly prefer the story of Commando Snake Eyes versus Ninja Snake Eyes.

That picture shows everything that's wrong with the Venom design, especially since it takes after the Spidey costume. In the comics and cartoons, as per the pic I posted above, Venom had a smooth costume. In the movie picture, it's got the raised spiderwebs on his torso, but his legs are smooth. It looks like he had to steal half of a Spider-Man costume and wear it over some ratty work jeans. It just doesn't work for me.

The problem is that the company that made the rumble feature in the first place has told Sony that the PS3 can't have it. Microsoft got hit the same way, but simply bought the offending company and continued to make rumble-friendly games.

With the rather lackluster acceptance of the PS3, can Konami really justify the development costs for a game limited to that one platform? While I don't know, the rumours I've been reading have said "no".

That's also assuming the rumours about MGS being ported to the 360 are false.

Which Megatron, though? Gun? Tank? T-Rex? Mechanical T-Rex? Dragon? Robot Dragon? Any of the crap, crap, crap "new" TF designs from Cybertron/Energon/etc.? How are those "related"? Face it, the G1 designs were retired LONG before this movie was even announced. When this movie comes out, I'm going to see it with a blank slate in my mind. This is a complete re-telling of the TF story, from the ground up and I'm going to treat it like that. The G1 designs will always have a nostalgic place in my heart, but they're hardly the OMG TEH ONLY AWSOME! that most people ascribe to them. Do you also hate the the VF-11, YF-19, YF-21? Those have almost nothing to do with the VF-1, so do they deserve the same amount of vitrol directed to them?

I just got the D-DVD add-on for the 360 and I'm having some trouble with it. Specifically, is there any way to configure the remote that comes with it to only work on the HD drive? IE: I want the HD disc tray to come out when I hit the open/close button, not the 360 tray. I saw it happen with the demo model, and I can't figure out how to do it myself.

I still say Sony is potentially shooting themselves in the foot by bundling a Blu-Ray player in with the PS3. If Blu-Ray fails, then the PS3 is going to be even less attractive on the markets. Microsoft did the right thing by releasing an add-on movie player; if HD-DVD flops, then they'll just produce a Blu-Ray add-on.

Not as long as the lawsuit is keeping them from that. Or they continue to tell us that the motion-sensitive controller won't accept rumbling.

No, he's an alien jet as per the leaked designs. The movie makers are doing their best to avoid changing size between the modes via anime magic, so a giant P38 would be just a tad ridiculous.
