I like how each successive Terminator movie advanced the plot of the overall story. It's never been as simple as, "let's make another one that's a simple rehash of what's been done already."

True, but the novels do a great deal of fleshing out the story. I really enjoyed the novelization of the game.

This is the last film that the stars are signed to via contract. They've all said that they'll come back for #4, but only if Sam Raimi directs. Sony Pictures, on the other hand, has openly stated that there will be more Spider-Man films... with or without the principles. Critics piss me off because they're paid to offer their opinions, but seldom have little to no actual experience with doing it themselves. How many movies has Ebert directed or starred in? Roeper? And yet all they do is sit back and hurl critiques without actually having to do better themselves.

I'm thinking of buying a Home Theater PC so I can hook it up to my 46" LCD. However, I'm also interested in getting an HD sattalite package and don't really relish the thought of using one video input for the TV and the other for the PC. Is there a video card that'll accept an HD signal that I can then output to my TV?

Man, that fighter looks like it was put in a bench vise and squished, then improperly fixed with a pair of pliers. The back end is too short, the front half is far too long, and I still can't over that hypodermic needlenose.

I dislike the summary I've read for the Legacy of the Force series. Basically, it takes that whole rebellion thingie and throws it out the window. These new characters are in exactly the same spot the old ones were: surrounded by the Empire, last of the Jedi, yadda yadda yadda. .... or should that be Yodda Yodda Yodda?

Ugh. Small != Venom. I hope Brock bulks up in SM4. One of the things that I always loved about Venom was how accidental it was. Brock was mad at Spider-Man for ruining his career and marriage (it was on the rocks already, but the Sin Eater hoax just axed it), and the nearly-dead symbiote could feel it. But it wasn't prepared for the onslaught of just how deeply Brock felt and that drove it over the edge, which, because they were connected, dragged Eddie with it and turned them (accidentally) into the massive, mean, insane Spider-killing machine that they were.
