  1. For me, it's more a matter of principle. The staff-type is a somewhat logical extension of the idea. But what's next? Light nunchuks? Light sais?
  2. Kingpin was also supposed to be white, Spider-Man wasn't supposed to be a pansy, and the X-Men are supposed to wear spandix. They change somethings for the movies
  3. I don't mind the reverse grip, it's kinda nifty. But I draw the line at some of the more absurd ieterations they're using in this game, like light-tonfas. No, no, no. That strikes me as fan-wanking and I don't want it.
  4. There's Detonator Orgun. If you're including bio-mecha, can't forget about the first Guyver series and the OVA. Angel Cop features cyborgs and psychics, so I don't know if that fits your critera or not.
  5. Exactly. I always liked how The Big C was well-educated and very, very good at what he did. It's just a shame that we never got to see that in the comics or cartoon. That's what I'm talking about. However, the cartoon did screw one thing up: Scarlett ends up with Snake Eyes, not Duke.
  6. Part of the reason is because so little about him has been told; same reason why Snake Eyes was immediatly popular. However the more they told about Snakes, the less mysterious and therefore the less interesting he became.
  7. I had no idea what Mass Effect was until you mentioned it. Now I can't wait for it to show up and it's all your fault This is news... how?
  8. How do you know what it plays like? Nothing about gameplay has been released.
  9. Looking through all those toys reminded me as to why I love the Joe filecards. More than the TF techspecs, the filecards give an entire story for each character in just a few paragraphs. Perhaps is my chronically over-active imagination at work, but whenever I read one I can sit back and just see how those characters and stories can look and take shape. More than the toys themselves, I go for the cards
  10. I liked this show because it had Stacy Haiduk in it Been a fan of hers ever since seaQuest.
  11. You speak the truth. And for all my battying about Jedi-oriented games, whenever I'm in an RPG group that's playing Star Wars I call first dibs on the Jedi Go figure And this game does look to be a great deal of fun, but it's already got one massive, glaring error. No James Earl Jones. No JEJ = Not a good Darth Vader.
  12. This movie had so many funny moments and little touches that I was honestly taken aback when the Giant Robot Stompin' Action started. My favourite part still is Bumblebee trying to "help" Sam with some choice music selection
  13. Yes, Commando Snake Eyes is much better than super-duper, magical-mystical, half-immortal massively skilled Ninja Snake Eyes.
  14. Uhh, it DID come out around 1995 or so...
  15. I don't think you'll get anyone arguing this point
  16. The reaction against Star Wars Galaxies proved to LucasArts that the vast majority of the fans don't want anything else. The whining and crying that it was too hard to become a Jedi in Galaxies was just pathetic, especially since the game wasn't supposed to have them in the first place. While this game looks like a great deal of fun, don't expect any non-Jedi game to come in the future.
  17. Aside from making gobs and gobs of money, you mean With the amount of money its made so far, at least one sequel is all but assured.
  18. No, no, no. The first sequel needs to have the combiners, specifically the Constructicons/Devastator. The one thing I'm really not that fond of in this movie is how easily they whacked Megatron. Unless they come up with some amazing Deus Ex Machina to bring him back, I don't see how any sequel Decepticons will measure up without.
  19. Which is probably the point, eh?
  20. My all-time favourite scene from that movie has to be Bumblebee "helping" Sam with various music selections. Utter hilarity.
  21. What's your first most wanted RPG?
  22. I still remember my favourite scene from the pilot episode (which was available on VHS at one point). Super Force on his first mission comes across the baddies locked in a house. "I forgot my keys. *kicks door in* Oh, well."
  23. Watching that trailer made me wonder, "Haven't I seen this already"? Has any information been released that says this show will be different from the one that preceeded it?
  24. Now THAT's an obscure name I didn't expect to hear again
  25. Sorry, but CM's designs like like horrid crap to me, so I won' be wasting my money on them.
