  1. nice...want to know about the shoulderrrrr
  2. I understand both points which are very good by VFTF1 and sqidd yes, a Yamato 1/48 VF-1 is a wonderful toy, 10x better than a 10 dollar transformer, so it costs 10x more...true those 10 dollar transformers are cheap low quality toys that are mass produced not meant to last or be taken care off, so when I buy a 10 dollar toy and I manhandle it and it breaks... I know it's what I pay for now here lies the problem with most of MW member, if I buy a toy that 10x better designed and expensive, and I'm not manhandling the thing and it breaks, should I complain about it? or just suck it up? oh, but there are spare available, but I must pay for them and also pay for shipping, ok, I get the spare and it's just as faulty, plus the added time of disassembling the toy, replacing the piece and putting it back together to break again, and so on and so on and so on in the end, I didn't get what I payed for...so why am I paying such prices if I'm virtually getting a lottery ticket to see if my toy will not arrive with any missing parts, crooked markings, exploding shoulders, etc. and all I have left to do with it is shelf it so it will look pretty behind a piece of glass...as a consumer, this is not what I expect when I payed for it so yes, for me, although I have the money I consider a breaking toy TOO EXPENSIVE you will not buy a 150,000USD Ferrari F430 with a 450HP engine that pops a headgasket after 50km just because it has a design flaw but the rest is solid as a rock so I will keep it parked on my garage
  3. wow...I just finished watching the last episode of season 4, when I heard about BSG I didn't gave it too much attention when it aired on TV since it was broadcast on fridays night and I'm always out on the weekends all night and all this heard about BSG and 'Grace being the final Cylon' jokes on the Macross frontier got me to see this show and wow, I've really enjoy it... so I guess I'll have to wait till jan 09...
  4. awesome the canopy and head are coming up quite nicely!
  5. in the end....business is business we have very few companies supplying us with Macross items and they don't compete each other and the consumer continues to buy their products, if this companies have seen that their product will see at the price they stablish as a benchmark when they started producing their first Macross items they have no reason to change monkey see, monkey do... either way, we the consumer are stuck with ugly chunky or exploding toys that costs more than they should...I can pay for each an every one of this toys easily but I don't want too, cause I keep feeling getting ripped off more and more
  6. so I guess the weathered 1/48 VF-1S and Max VF-1A don't fall in this category?!
  7. uhh...maybe they're the little square that cover where the fold booster attaches
  8. ok...to detract from the bitching about bitching about bitchin a little, hahahha I superimposed the pilot figure from the ejector pod on the image of the full vf-11 and did a piss poor job comparing the pilots to see the size that is more o less having, it does appear a bit bigger than the original 1/60 size since it's originally meant to be slightly bigger than a VF-1 here's the image and a chart of the valk sizes
  9. then why would you show them?
  10. hahaha...the day we don't bitch about something Shawn will shut the site down I remember when the first CAD of the YF-21 came out, everyone bitched and moaned about the hood and thin legs, and how they couldn't take Graham word that it will be very sleek...and I mean EVERYONE, and now the YF-21 is considered one of Yamatos best I agree with a lot of posters here that these initial shots aren't the best, some compromises were made (but not butchered like Bandai's take to Macross), but we all have to remember, the Macross Plus mecha rely heavily on anime magic and I believe Yamato will do a good work as long as it's not a floppy mess and nothing explodes on me...I'll take it
  11. why would anyone buy this special chrome plated kits to strip them off and paint them? why not just buy the regular version of this kits I know when finish the seams and gaps will look like sh!t, why are these things even produced?
  12. HAHA! oh yeah...when I was watching that I thought the trophies looked familiar, more like a Mercedes insignia, either way, I was too dissapointed at the moment by Glocks tire screw up allowing Hamilton to pass him in the last corner to think about the trophy
  13. hehe...chill dude, I was just joking about someone else commenting how you're one of the few who is liking the VF-25, bad joke I guess, my apologies
  14. w..o..w... guess you really like em chunky and disproportioned, hahahaha kidding
  15. comparison between club-m fighter and Yamato I say they did pretty good...
  16. OMG...looks good for me, the tailfin are small, I guess it was the only way to have them fit inside the legg on transformation the back shot in battroid looks perfect, fighter looks good and much much sleeker than the 1/72 but I'd like more shots but I'm quite satisfied with how it looks, the VF-11 does have a huge head laser... the knees are not line art accurate, I guess Yamato took it upon themself the knee movement for a proper Gerwalk pose, I can live with this
  17. I want a fat chubby disproportioned Macross quarter... hey, since Bandai isn't pleasing anyone...I'll be happy if they displease this wish of mine
  18. hehehe...I really want to see how Bandai royally screws up with a FAT Macross 1/4 pounder
  19. because dumbasses like us keep taking Yamato's crazy prices up our asses with pleasure... you can't tell me the fold booster with FAST pack attachments for the YF-19 and NON-TRANSFORMING-non-tampoed-non-weathered destroid are horribly overpriced
