That neck on the VF-1A is disgusting! looks like it's wrapped with that plumber sealant. The more and more I see of this kit the more I think Bandai just doesn't give a damn about Macross and is trying to justify the license by doing this crap. -
2014, plenty of time to save up. I got an extra VF-17 figure, getting the VF-1, in need of a VF-11B one. It be really nice if Arcadia would offer extra stuff like pilots, option parts, waterslide decals, etc. for sale without having to buy the whole valk.

I hope this doesn't happen anymore, but what will we call if someone gets "Yamatoed"...Arcadiaed? Arcaded? At least, the last time I got Yamatoed, I got an extra pilot figure.

LOL!!!! I still can't imagine what is Bandai's excuse for the 1/72 mess. Hell, some crazy could go and claim false advertising by the very nice box art. -
And the Angelbird and TV/SDFM/Zero CF. But his collection has the important valks and is totally kickass!! I also have them divided by Macross series but not as nice as him. Again, I really like the old school Zentradi, ehehehe

I love the YF-21/VF-22S but there are things I'd like improve on the YF-21, the fighter mode is as good as it gets, but battroid still needs improvement as in, better head range of motion, proper chest locking mechanism and its major weakness, the whole hip/legs/belly plate system Too skinny and a pain to transform and put back together. But I'm in no hurry to put them in the back of the shelf. I want VF-11B/C reissues first! fixed it for you.

Yes it can, it can be made as a 4 point attachment that surrounds the forearm, if the internal mechanism to open isn't too complicated they can make it unwrap and attach to the other forearm with collapsing leg housing so it could fit similar to the VF-1 arm packs on fighter mode. Of course, this sounds overly complicated, if they just give me the piece of plastic to attach on battroid I'll be happy.

Thankfully it says Macross Plus :P But I wouldn't mind a version of the Frontier YF-19 with the retarded but cool looking wing super packs. One of the few memorable things out of Frontier.

Thanks, I'm happy you all like it and I too agree I would buy one if Arcadia made one (even if I have this one already). Yes, eventough is not actually painted, I decided to add the black stripe, it looked too plain without it. That's one of my favorite things in it. Nope, haven't used them yet but already have plans for them. I used the waterslide decals that came with the kit and a bunch leftover from a previews kit. It's on Episode 2 right after Isamu gets the YF-19 and does the dynobird drawing in the sky. More pics, this kit is very fun. Since there's no 1/60 Zentradi battlesuit, Millia will have to step in Photoshop to the rescue: Oh boy... BTW, if you looked closely on the 19, it's sporting VF5SS awesome arm replacement fix, thanks VF-5SS.

v1 VF-1 got me full into Macross, but the YF-19 and YF-21 were the ones that got me hooked on this PT toys. I hope the new YF-19 doesn't come with that Barney purple Frontier puke canopy.

At least the YF-19 FP came with the foldildo justifying a bit the price, but the VF-17 Super parts ARE a rip off.

Don't forget chest locking mechanism!! They should implement the rear canopy eject shield. That would be awesome!

F*ck yeah! great news, thanks for sharing. Love the "!!!!!!" 2014, enough time to save up. Hope it comes with the arm pack thing that destroys Monsters with one hit. Now comes the flood of current YF-19 to be sold.

Yep, along with the VF-1A Alaska, this are great milking opportunities for Arcadia. I'm really digging the whole assembly kits and doing obscure valks, so many are seen all along the series. Already got my next kit in the table for my next custom. I hope Arcadia continues releasing this kits also but fix the missing waterslide decals 2 vernier thrusters. I seriously considered doing that but decided not to.

As seen here: I've always like the simplicity of that particular VF-1J seen in Macross Plus. Made from an assembly kit, took me about a week and a half, mostly assembly and decal placing, very little painting required. Easy custom. Since that is the only screenshot available I used a VF-1J Hikaru as reference, red scheme into black scheme. Surprising how such a little detail as color can change the appearance so much.
