the wings are cool as are the butterfly tails, but everything between them looks wrong. the intake placement and forward fuselage look better on the YF-22/F-22, and the tails stick way out the back. it would have looked much better with more conventional exhausts that stuck out a bit more.

the F-22 is the best looking jet fighter since the F-104, the YF-23 looks like a stealth gecko. the YF-23 was an inoperative design, but the F-22 win in my book based on shear aesthetic value.

I don't know what it is about HLJ lately, not only are they taking longer to get things out the door, but it also takes longer in transit (it used to take about a week from when the item shipped out with SAL, not it's at least 3)

how did you find the RE5 Demo. I just downloaded it and gave it a try tonight. I was sadly not impressed. the movement and weapons felt really clunky and slow, nothing like RE4 (especially the fact that you have to hold A continuously to run, blegh ). the new inventory set up sucks, instead of a scalable attache case, you get a series of slots that hold 1 item, (1 herb takes as much space as a sniper rifle ?!?) and you have to do inventory management in real time, and even though you've got 4 slots tied to the D pad it's still a pain in the ass during combat. it's nice that an enemy with a chainsaw does not equal instant death, although the chainsaw wielding guys take more damage now. I really wan't to bust out my PS2 and play RE4 again now.

I believe that the Su-34 does in fact have one, (hence the enlarged tailboom ). as for any others, I don't see how you could fit one back there.

I'm a little confused, why are we talking about Bandai making a 1/60 scale konig Monster when this is a thread for a Megahouse 1/8 scale Ranka figure? after this comes out, Megahouse better make a sheryl fig, and she'd better be cast off.

thanks, the hardest part though would probebly be just finding the peices, i've got litterally thousands and never seem to have enough parts to build exactly what I want (and not have it turn out all rainbow color). maybe if I start selling off some of my old parts in bulk and buy a few star wars kits...

except with the ATF competition, the cooler fighter really did win.

seen it, it was good but I think the best in the last decade has to be Night watch as for underworld; there ok as far as violent action movies go (I love any movie that involves decapitation and blatant gun porn) but nothing special. I miss the old vampire movies of the 50's and 60's though, before Anne rice came along and ruined everything, those were by far the best (indicates avatar as proof). do you think about any of the crap you say before you type it, or dose it all just come to you?

she had a greenish VF-27, basically she flew a cannon fodder -27, I'd rather have a purple VF-27, and it's not like you can tell how hot effeminate Brera is at that scale. anyways, I'd like to see them come out with a new Valk every 1~2 months, and by new valk I mean new model not just a repaint.

agreed, It would make more sence for them to be conventional cables. and as for the lights, they're probebly there to indacate the position of the cable so nobody tries to fly through one by accident.

my thinking is this, the removal of 1 port correlates with the removal of the magazine in which the missiles are stored for that port, so if you have (random number) ten missiles per launcher; the VF-17 with 4 ports will have 40 missiles, but the 171 (with 2 ports) will have 20. the more likely situation is that they have the same space for storage, but instead of feeding 4 ports it feeds 2. I'm just putting out some theory's and I totally forgot about the launch ports on the legs. (which end up in a kind of awkward place in battroid/gerwalk mode, being on the inner legs.)

I don't believe there has been any official word on wiether the VF-171 has passive stealth (looking forward to the articles on it and the VF-27 to show up in the chronicles) but based on the look of the ship itself, I'd say it probably has passive stealth characteristics, thought the frequent use of external weapons tends to negate that. as for the micro missile launchers, if you look at the fighter mode views side by side: in the area on the -171 where the -17's missile ports were there is a single opening of undefined function. so if that is a missile port, then the VF-171 has fiewer missiles, or it can only launch in volleys of 2 instead of volleys of 4. :edit: looking at these two got me thinking. I can see now how the vernier parts on the VF-17 look a lot like the circles on the SV-51, but looking at those same verniers on the -171, they're now diamond shaped. Considering that little aesthetic choices like that are generally more similar between Mac0 and MacF than Mac0 and Mac7, I'd think that if SK wanted them to be verniers he would have drawn them as diamonds rather than circles.

I really don't think the SV-51 has thrusters that would help with space maneuvering, it seems more likely to me that the leg thrusters act more as thrust reverse's and stabilizing thrusters in GERWALK and battroid, but are probably too strong and not precise enough for fine maneuvering in space. as for the little circle things, I'm not even sure they're actually verniers and not just circles.

has anyone actually checked to see if the wings might have magnets or metal in them?
