    The series was decent, particularly the middle seasons (not better than the first movie but much better than all the sequels). the spin-off, "highlander: the Raven" however, was one of the worst things I've ever seen.

    only pic I could find, although I have a feeling this isn't what your talking about. I also have a feeling this is another thing like "HBAR" and Doorknobs where everyone is cryptic and stuff about it, and when you finally figure it out you feel both disappointed, dirty and slightly dead inside.

    HOLLY F*CKING MONKEY BALLS, I REMEMBER THIS SHIT!!! this was F*cking mind-blowing when I was 8 years old. all I remember about it now are that opening scene, motorcycles that turned into hovercraft, and a guy trying to chase down the space shuttle in an F-117.

    That really makes no sense though. I'd honestly argue that it should be battroid, destroid, shuttle with no Gerwalk mode. Personally I consider gerwalk a hybrid mode with more mobility than battroid but more CQC capability than the fighter mode, neither of which are the case with the Monster. To me calling the mid mode destroid mode makes the most sense as it behaves as a support unit in that mode, like a almost all of the non-transforming destroids. Now the so called "destroid" mode fills the same CQC roll that every other battroid mode so they might as well call it a battroid. not how they do it, but it would make more sense.

    Well I love Stargate the movie, SG-1 and Atlantis. Furthermore, Stargate stars Kurt Russell which automatically makes it superior to everything; so you can politely shut your filthy blasphemous mouth. :edit: and as for SG-1, the fact that it stars Richard dean Anderson makes it even better than the movie.

    All the v.2's will break/explode/emit cancer causing radiation/plot to murder you in your sleep; that's just the way it is.

    Also; I've come to a realization: after 13 years, all the CG and stuff added for the special edition look like absolute shit; the late 90's CGI looks SO bad, the inserted stuff doesn't match the original footage at all, it's really just sad to look at. What Lucas needs to do is go hire Weta and have them Completely redo the movie; like ~90% all new material. just replace everything with CGI; sets, vehicles, characters, EVERYTHING. And while there at it, they could take the time to modernize the film (aliens less goofy, more modern looking ships, new score etc). finally, re-release it in IMAX and 3D.

    Actually using a catapult to launch fighters in space makes more sense than just nudging them out the side of the ship. the catapult will get the craft further from the ship and give it more speed/momentum without having to use any of the fighters internal propellant.
