Nice shots Graham, the Reagan is a nice ship, only carrier where you don't have to go through a lavatory aka head, to get into the forward RAM launcher space. Actually F-Zero-One, the America has pretty standard self defense armament all around, the rear fantail has, from left to right, a CIWS mount, a NATO SeaSparrow Launcher, and RAM mount (not-SeaRAM, which is basically a CIWS mount with an 11 round RAM magazine instead of a phalanx cannon.) THen forward it has a RAM Mount, with a SeaSparrow mount behind that and a CIWS mount over the bridge. That is pretty standard on all carriers, LHA/D to full on CVN, though most CVNs are going away from the CIWS and going to replace the Sea-Sparrow with ESSM in the next few years.

My biggest beef with a YF-23 styled Skystriker, it needs to be cast in cobra blue instead of AF-gery/white. THink about it, they are reissuing the Conquest, which is kind of a grey/tan right? Sit the conquest next to a cobra blue YF-23, and what do you have? The GI Joe equivalent of Macross Plus!!!! Also I fear that might just reissue this: the 1992 Stormeagle I remember having this, including the lame water gun in it.

I'm still going with my theory, or a variation there of: The Macross has always retained flight capability after its retrofit, as demonstrated in Plus and VFX-2. This allowed for making the DYRL movie and goodwill tours. Imagine after spending years in space and setting up a colony having the Macross come for a visit. That would be a great morale boost for some galaxyweary travelers. This way as well the UN Spacy could keep its HQ constantly on the move, and therefore relatively safe from invasion. Of course its home port would be earth, and it was after all present for the Sharron Apple incident, due to the space war armistance 30th anniversarry celebration. Now, in the aftermath of the Protodevlin and Macross-13 incidents, the UN Spacy had been on pretty shaky ground with a lot of colonies getting frustrated, tired, and unsure of the UN Spacy's abilty to defend them. The Macross was therefore launched on an unprecedented goodwill tour, making stops at all the colonies, but somewhere along the way it runs into a fold dislocation, or that space-time anamoly mentioned on the Macross-F website (which has yet to be explained) and gets lost. This creates a huge fragmentation in all of the UN Spacy with many colonies breaking away, but retaining diplomatic ties, and even convinces many to start private colonization efforts (like Galaxy). Some of these colonies wish to remain like the UN Spacy but distance themselves from a now seemingly weakened government, and name themselves the New UN Spacy (Frontier). So they are actually a break away colony, but they retain some ties to the old UN Spacy. What will be interesting now is the political ramifications of finding the Macross intact on Galia-4.

Anybody else think that the Dr's Daughter might have gotten half her genes from a certain recent ex-companion, especially considering her appearance (hottie), her gymnastic ability, which mom demoed as well, and the fact that mom keeps showing up this season, plus the fact of what mom did while interfaced with the tardis?

Question: Hase D'Anna ever met/seen Dee? Who was her escort when she did her little expose' aboard the big-G? If she never saw/met Dee then she might assume that the fifth, if it is Dee, is not in the fleet.

She said she had sent a transmission to them and let them know she was coming, of course I believe she said this after they landed and looked out to see the four of them watching her.

Of course how do we know they even actually landed on Earth? Bear with me. They think it is Earth because of the constellations. But... We have no idea when the show takes place, it could be many, many thousands of years ago, in which case, there might have once been a fourth planet inside the habitable band of our solar system, out at the edge of the habitable band, beyond mars, a planet that is little more then floating debris now. What if, the "Earth" they have found is that planet, and somehow in the series of the finale they blow it up, along with the rest of the cylon fleet, and make their way to the real Earth. It is just a theory anyway, but from what we were shown, I saw no recognizable land masses from orbit, the city was too generic to definitively say it was any particular city, IIRC the sun looked a little on the smallish side, and finally the planet seemed like it might be bitterly cold, based on the their manner of dress and demeanor. How would that be for a curve ball? As for the ID of the final cylon, more then likely it is one of the pilots who were aboard the base ship, or possibly someone who the cylons have already killed. Remember Deanna did apologize to one, who are all the characters we know of that the Cylons personnally killed before she saw the final five?

Someone on another board mentioned that the Starbuck's first line to Adama in the mini would actually come back to bite them this episode, what was that line? I thought it was basically good morning and they cat/rain thing. If so, how would that come back to bite them?

Or perhaps Yamato is doing what we've asked for a while and releasing each one with multiple heads, of course that then makes we wonder how the head attaches.

Which follows with my current working theory of the original cylons being the artificial embodiments of the Lords of Kobol, who lead to the exodus to the colonies, and the final five, being the final five original descendants of those original twelves, who are able to retain the memories of those that came before, a form of genetic memory. *Rant Warning* Ok, my stepsons are getting into transformers, I do plan to expose them to better anime mecha later, but for now they are obsessed. Anyway is it just me or has the quality and durability of these toys taken a serious dump? Here is my example, My youngest stepson was given a movie bumblebee by his dad, the one with the Buckaroo Banzai symbol on the doors, and he can't go a minute without a part falling off. What is the deal here? Maybe I am sounding like a pissy fanboy but I don't care, I seem to remember back in the day that major hinges and joints would have pins or bars in them in order to keep them in place. Now, it seems like all they have is friction/pressure joint connections that can't hold together to save a life. It upsets me because I can't go a minute without my five year old coming in crying asking me to fix this POS thinking that he's broken it. How do you explain to a little kid that this POS breaking is not his fault and that he is just going to have to live with it? I would let them play with my old Mac-7 valks more then these things becuase I know that they won't shatter by just transforming them. *rant end*

The C-17 in the movie, is one I work with daily, and any sharp eyes look at the lower pilots window, we inserted two little jokes in there, not sure if they are visible there. But hey if they do, my custom VF-1D is a star.

Good article, and yes my money at this point is on either Dualla/Adama or Tom Zarek. For a while I was leaning towards Gaeta but those two work better for me. Though Dee has been conspicously absent the last couple of episodes.
