  1. Does it matter? They look cool. Besides, what's with teh football shoulders?
  2. Silent line is a little short on torsos, too. One complain't I've had since i've been playing, is the fact that a lot of cores have that MG on the front, but it's decoration only.
  3. . Of course, 200 of those are mine YOU WIN THE PRIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... see my sig. LOL... that was soooooo mean! I thought it was pretty funny, but I'd already seen the pic anyway. Besides, it's 300 now
  4. The thing that really does it for me is that it's just so different. We've had so many super, strike, etc, but the GBP is much less common, and also does more to chande the overall VF than the FAST packs do.
  5. I'll wait for the fansubs, but I'm glad to see that the newest episode will come out. So, think Lt. Fukai will get another new fighter this episode?
  6. to ease the difficulty, simply lift up the legs swing bars and then bring the arms out. its much easier that way. I know, but it's so much more fun to do it the way it looks in the show!
  7. Hey, it occured to me that we have a lot of AC players around, and no thread for it, so I started one. Anyway, I've been playing AC: Silent Line, and it's really hard. I had to start from scratch, because I never got 3, and I've never seen it for rental anywhere. Right now, I've been concentrating on making Destroids. Although the Defender and Tomahawk are hard to recreate, and pretty weak, my rendition of the Phalanx came out great! The storm of missiles you can unleash is incredible! I'll post my specs, and you guys can re-create it and make any improvements you can think of. Anyway, I hope that within this thread, people will speculate, discuss, and tell their AC stories.
  8. Heh, heh, that's not the currant issue any more, the latest issue is the October 2003 issue which has been out 3-4 days already. Graham Hey, september isn't even out over here yet. It's wierd, too, because our kinokuniya gets its magazines at the same time as the ones in Japan. But I'm always hearing about the two months later isue coming out before I find the next month's one.
  9. I think that's probably because it was someone taking a picture of a person with the F-117, not of the plane itself. Besides, wouldn't you get paranoid if you saw a guy taking pictures of every little detail, including sticking his head and camera in the exhaust?
  10. hahaha, same here,i love gundam , WHY CANT THERE BE A CHARS COUNTERATTACK GAME!!!! ive seen pics of one for PSX, but havent been able to find it anywhere. this game will have to due untill i get my CC fix , it looks quite good but ive seen almost all gundam games have issues with control and gameplay. id like a GOOD control for once. and some good space gameplay and a playable Huyaku-Shiki //Dan.. [EDIT] some spelling and took some of those damn dirty emoticons away [/EDIT] I think the lack of a good CCA game is the shortage of mecha. I mean, you have: Nu, Re-GZ, Jegan, and GM III. For NZ, you have Geara (and commander's type), Jagd (2 versions, too), and Sazabi. That's 9 mecha. Compare that to FvZ: Ball, GM, GM [G], Gundam [G], Guntank, Guncannon, Gundam, G Sky, G-Bull, G-Fighter, Zaku I, Zaku II F, Zaku II S, Gouf, Acguy, Gogg, Z'gok, Z'gok S, Zock, Gelgoog, Char's Gelgoog, Zeong, Bigro, Grabro, Zakrello, Braw Bro, Elmeth, Big Zam, and Adzam. That's 29 Mecha, and after a while, those get boring. Plus, CCA had about 2 battles in it, as opposed to the numerous major and minor battles in MSG.
  11. I have a feeling that there will be a worst distributor poll in the near future...... and Tokyopop will be the only option! Hey! 300!
  12. I just checked my bro's Max, and it splits, too, but at least the gear is quite secure.
  13. Pretty good tutorial, although it was mostly stuff I know from model railroading. I wasn't expecting that tarmac to ba a bought product, I think your mods to it, like the cracks with weeds, made it look so great. I may do a little work on something like this, but I'll actually do a plaster runway, and put the aircraft in a takeoff pose, something I've been wanting to do.
  14. I had a bit of trouble finding some myself, but once I did, I'll never go back. As for that line, it's not perfect, but I don't really think there's anyone who could do better.
  15. Oh well, I guess I'll have to get some aftermarket decals, or maybe just use leftover ones. I'll take a look at 'em if you can bring them to the con, I'll buy if I like.
  16. Seriously, that's why I was saying he should go into surgery. If I tried to do that, I'd just get irate because of my clunky hands.
  17. I'm working on one now, and it can pretty much stand straight up, with its legs vertical.
  18. Maybe bigger is great if you're loaded, but some people (like me) can barely scrape together the money for a 1/60 VF-1 or a 1/72 M+. If everything is the size of a 1/48 VF-1, I won't be able to get anything.
  19. I can do it, but I have to pull and push the arm swingbars to clear certain parts.
  20. I agree that much is lacking in the Yammie stickers. I'll have to pick up some aftertmarket ones, once I get a 1/48.
  21. Frank & Sons (aka Frankenstiens, aka Frank & Beans), Shrine show, comic shop, cons.
