Speaking of which, my GF was saying that even in the Illiad there is only an implication that Achilles dies... IE you aren't sure. does anyone have any more specific information? Everything after Hector's funeral takes place in works outside of the Illiad, like the Aeneid and a few others I can't for the life of me name off the top of my head.

Agreed, poor guy only gets bit parts... Hell even in LOTR's while that was a pretty big role, he got cast as the least likable charactor who died in the 1st movie. He had the one of the best performance though. His speech during the council was great and was even better in the extended version. He was underused in an even worse way in this movie. Oh I agree, he played a powerful role in the movie, and the extended versions of LOTR's do him more justice, it's just ashame that some of his best scenes will not be viewed by a larger audience as probably only the hardcore fans are gonna be viewing the extended versions.

It's the Aeneid that finishes up the Trojan War methings. It starts with the destruction of Troy, and then chronicles the adventures of the last surviving Trojans, lead by Aeneias whose decendants found Rome.

Hehe, probably. A while back, while searching for dougram stuff on E-bay, I came across a PVC figure of one of the lead women. You could reconfigure her with or without her skirt on.
