lusting after Arcee is pretty creepy too Sorry, just had to knock that other fandom fraught with creepy fanboys I can't wholly disagree with S. Though it wasn't exactly what I would call an intelligent criticism of anime, a funny one perhaps, but not an intelligent one. Anime's single greatest problem is the fans. (not all fans mind you, but a specific type of fan) Fans who are in your face, talking about how great anime is, and take it as a personal offense that you don't think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, and then go on some personal crusade to convert you into liking it. This fault though is generally the fault of most fandoms, be it Anime, Trek, or Star Wars, ect. Truth be told, I'm curious to find out what is going to be the next flavor of the month in terms of pop culture after the anime craze has passed, what will be the next object for geek culture fanaticism?

Did they at least do a good job closing up the all of those nasty gaps that were on the pre-production model? My question exactly. It would be inexcuseable if those gaps on the lower legs on the proto type, carry over into the production run.

I know I'm going to get flamed for saying this, but that's the case with most anime as well. The design is so awesome (and detailed) it distracts one from noticing that most of the animation is very stiff and jerky.

From what it seems, it looks like the new batman movie may be taking hints from Frank Miller's Batman:Year One, which is no bad thing. Miller's vision of the bat is one of the best out there. Edit:spelling

No, Rick the Hunter from the old boards made it. He did a great job. I think many people wanted it when he posted it the first time. It'd be interesting what kind of hysteria a 1/48 would make at the TF2005 boards. Many TFer fans I have met have no idea of the 1/48's existence, so they would probably be convinced they were looking at the proto for a MP Jetfire, which you could argue the 1/48 sorta is

1st two seasons are the best, 3rd season is when thinks started to go sour. Still over all, it is one of the most mature and serious cartoons made for americans.
