Who says video games can't be healthy?
GobotFool replied to Noriko Takaya's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah, and not just physical health, there is that zen game called wild divine as well Where through a special bio feedback hookup you learn to channel your body energy and use your force powers or something -
LOL, you have much more faith in the masses than I do

That's only fan speculation, we don't know if it's true. Graham It is highly probabable they are making this piece for all the people who can not afford their more highend products. Which may be a smart move. Kindof how bandai makes HGUC, and MSIA. Cheap crack for the average consumer, and then they go make PG's and Gundam DX toys for the grown up collectors.

Votoms over Gasaraki design? JELEINEN. Go back to your dealer and get some good crack! Cuz you're just wasting money on some cheap high! Nah, I agree with Jeleinen. Scopedog over a raiden anyday.

Ahhh yes, 1/55 cyclones for a mere 80$ apeace.

It actually looks good. Wow. I may actually pre-order one now. *hell freezes over* The missiles look pretty bad though, and there are some serious gaps... Hopefully the gaps will be fixed.

No wonder I like "older" directors if this is what the best the new crop has to offer. Dude owes me 15 bucks for the waste of time known as Unbreakable and Signs. He had the most excellent casts and completely wasted their potential. The man is guilty for making Sam Jackson wear that hideous afro and not letting him go wild, and not living up to his potential exhibited by his first film. If he were to direct Schwarzengger it'll probably turn out to be a turd too, breaking AgentOne's Law of Movies™. See thats the thing, I think he's a talented director, but as is expecially demonstrated in signs, a shitty writer. I think the guy knows how to work a camera, and pace a movie, just not write one.

Yes, Shymalon is the greatest new director. This will be the greatest horror since Alien.

That's not a transformable mecha!!!! It's a glorified lego set....

Which toy have you own or know as being the most
GobotFool replied to CID's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I dunno. The 19 is worse IMHO. Has sideburn been mentioned yet? Not too hard, just really counter intuitive. -
Just look at the pictures man! That thing perfect transformation. Those intermediate transformation steps show it clearly!

Looks photoshopped.

I agree with that. There was so much going on it bored me to death. Sensory overload turned to bordom. "Oh look lightning, explosions, fire.... yawn" lol Anyone pick up the animated Van Helsing DVD? It supposed to take place before the movie. It's around 9-10.00 at Best Buy etc They did an animated prequel? Already? Geeze.

I'd get it if it were say 200 dollars cheaper... I say Yamato needs to take this design and give us a mass produced ABS plastic version. -

You own this? PICTURES!!!! Show us some decent pictures of the mechanics!!! -
did they make an anmie of for this toy??? Honestly, I'm not sure. I know there was a CG tv show based on Starship Troopers that had a version of the power suits in it. I don't know about the design of the power suit. I've always pictured it differently ever since I read the novel. Somehow, more ape like... Yes, there was a SST anime. It was never released here in the states though. Here is some line art Let me get this straight. There's a Starship Troopers novel.....there's a Starship Troopers movie which was based VERY loosely on the novel....then there is the game based on the movie.... and now there's an anime based on.....???? Uhhh.... The novel? Actually I saw these toys made by not sure who in a comic shopw in Australia about a year back....and they were labeled ARMORED SUITS or something....and I ever seen or heard of anything like that. It looked to me like an Elemental rip-off (or most probably what the ELemental was ripped off from) Don't forget the sequel to the movie. sequel, there is or will be a sequel?

while I agree about the green one, the Max one you just did is pretty convincing.

Compleatly agree with you. He has to be one of the most unjustly, underused actors in the industry.

Hakim gets the sudden realization of how small he and his cause are compared to the rest of the cosmos, a shattering revelation for all who have had it. It's kind of left up in the air if this had any effect on his future goals. Nono (the lunarian right?) I suppose just lives out her life loving the moon. Such a life goes on kinda ending... I loved that part about the final episode, how it showed both the good and bad elements of the universe persisting.
-
I probably would have loved them too, if I didn't pay full price for em when they 1st came out

Hmmmm , StarShip Trooper power suits. Lets hope they are not microsized like the last ones that were released.
