  1. HAHA Jango owned that guy.... Might as well add in all the other jedi who were slaughtered in that scene. Also speaking of violence, Jango gets his head lobbed off, Anakan gets his armed sliced off, and Amadala gets her back shreaded. Gee Han blasting greedo was really aweful compared to those though the official if still not semi lame argument Lucas offered was, I don't think such an important hero should be seen killing in cold blood. My argument back is, how was it cold blood? Greedo had a gun in Han's face. Now if there was a scene with Han blasting kittens or crap I guess I could understand removing that.
  2. Those ZMDC figs, wow. I want some!
  3. another lame and pointless death is Tetsuo's girl when she gets squished in his gooky folds. Pero's death in Metrpolis pissed me off too. Oh and Vampire Hunter D bloodlust, the 1st bounty hunter with the massive hammer? Stabbed in his shadow and dies while standing up? Damn that was creepy but stupid at the same time!
  4. Guilds is without a doubt the most dramatic and heroic and painful in my eyes.
  5. SW debate in a nutshell after news is released -Man this movie looks great! -What are you kidding it's gonna suck! Lucas is on crack! -It looks okay but Lucas should add (insert lame fanfiction ideas here) -Mitaclhorins are lame! -C'mon it wasn't all bad, I mean the pod race and new lightsaber duels were cool! -I want to see Jar Jar die horridly! - I think <insert lame fan title> would make a great title! -Why does the new title suck so badly? -Hey at least it's better than Attack of the Clones. -Well at least I'll be able to enjoy the SE in DVD finally. -What!? SE raped my childhood! -C'mon people they are just movies! Just try and enjoy them. -Hey guys look at the latest news! *and the cycle repeats*
  6. Well it isn't me, but I do have to say that this actor shares some my dashingly hansome characteristics. Seriously though, do you guys really think I look like this guy? Actually with the red eye you have in that photo you kinda look like a terminator A1
  7. what? No pink Red Comet special option?
  8. where are those pictures?
  9. Dammit, these pictures have sold me. unless they have major QC issues I am getting all 4 of them O.o
  10. Origional looks better to me, and hell all they edited out was the hit, the cheesy flail and fall remain in both.
  11. Nice! While I liked the Max Factory my main atraction to toys based on transforming mecha is well, no prizes here, the transformation gimmick. So while the Max factory looked nice I wasn't to interested. Now with this coming I have completely lost interest in the Max Factory and am going to be saving up for this baby!
  12. Maybe the Predator is what we need to unite the two parties. Dissenters will be killed and their skulls will be displayed as trophies. Wheeeeeee ^^ I can think of several politicians I'd like to see that happen to
  13. Damn, can't believe I forgot to mention Blade Runner or Mad Max in my 1st post on this topic. O.o BTW I'd vote for the Predator over most humans :-p
  14. For me pivital SF movies are Alien, Terminator and Star Wars OT. So many modern movies use the formulas these movies revitalized or created. They are also some of the most referenced sci-fi films today. Predator is a great movie but it just didn't have the same impact. Alien = Made sci-fi horror respectable again. Terminator= revisioned our fear of out of control technology. Star Wars = Well, Star Wars is Star Wars, does much have to be said? Predator = Awesome action and concept. The predator is some of Stan Winston's finest work, that thing in no way looks like a costume. So costuming FX wise it set a new standard that still even with modern FX, many movies do not live up to. I'd dump Predator in the same catagory as Robocop. A movies that is a great flicks, but sadly didn't leave as much of a lasting mark as the 1st three I listed.
  15. I'm suprised one ones interested. I mean you CG artists could render anything and then get a RL representation you could actually handle physically!
  16. Have you ever seen transformers the movie? That didnt have any giggle factor and was more "realistic" than minmay's singing stunts.... Ummmm,Junkion dance, wheelie? If those two things are not silly I do not know what is.
  17. I showed this off in the other-sci-fi toys section but no one seemed interested hopefully here it'll recieve a better response. http://www.3darttopart.com/index.php
  18. Heres a company that will take your lighwave models, and create them in full solid form! http://www.3darttopart.com/index.php
  19. Never trust Ebert & Roeper, as they've given two thumbs up to certain films that don't deserve it: - The Alamo - Collateral Damage - Daredevil - Hollywood Homicide - Maid in Manhattan - Signs - Speed 2 (co-rated by the late Gene Siskel) - S.W.A.T. Not to mention that Ebert gave Gojira (1954) a Thumbs Down. Don't forget Episode 1. And I liked Signs.
  20. this is so not going to end well.
  21. My ideal Robocop toy would be a 12" poseable Dragon-style figure with diecast armor that you could take apart and reveal his twisted internal workings along with a big ass metal ED-209 with spring levered legs, etc. That would rule the Earth, but they're ain't no way McFarlane could make anything that cool. Whatever they put out will have tons of detail, fall apart, and be made of rubbery plastic. I'm willing to bet if they make a 4th robocop movie Aoshima may take a stab at larger scale robocop toys. That would just be unbearably cool!
  22. Old news. It's CG. Very fake looking CG.
