I've said it before, I'll say it again. That is not a transforming toy, that's a lego set!

nice! I like it! I like it alot! -
... and you forgot to add that it was a blind man that put him there. I swear the Fett family sucks... why do people love him so much? Here is my running total of everything Boba did in the OT: - show up - promise not to disintigrate anyone - follow the Millenium Falcon to Cloud City - hang around Vader looking moody - get whiny about Vader beating up on his trophy - shoot his rifle a lot and miss every time - take Solo back to Jabba - hang around Jabba and look moody - hit on Jabba's dancers - make a half-assed attempt to stop the heroes - get hisself dead at the hands of a blind man On the bad-ass-o-meter he rates a negative three. Lucas also says that if he had known Boba was going to be more popular he would have had a different death. The main focus was killling Jabba though.... If anything Lucas should have given boba a more badass death. Like luke slicing him in half. If he had to mode anything He could have done that That also would have ended is boba dead debate once and for all!

Something I find a little odd, he cleaned up the FX in alot of scenes, but in the escape from the death star in ANH he left in those read spaces around the tie fighters. Any reason why he didn't do this, forgot to? A technical imposibility to fix? It was just his whim to leave it in?

wait.... is this real?!?!?!?!?!?!? Anything's gotta be nicer than that FUGLY looking Ravage. Heck. I'd rather pick up an Energon figure. I don't really mind ravage, but that pink meister is frightening. -

Actually, I'm not a big fan of the first film either, for precisely the same reasons you mention. However, Production IG looks like they're doing their usual world class job in terms of animation, which is my main drawing point for this film. Same sentiment here: I'm rather fond of the GitS movie for its technical performances than for its story depth and/or faithfullness to the original manga While I will admit that the GitS movie is technically impressive, I can't really appreciate that much because of how the movie was hyped. In the movie's own hype they compare it to Akira, but if you really do compare the animation in both movies GitS isn't even in the same league, by far. Now I can't watch the movie without that comparison in my head. wow, completely disagree.. GitS does stuff that you would even dream of back in the day Akira was made... the CGI and hand drawn stuff is seemless, and the mood and pacing are just incredible. while akira is amazing considering when it was made, the character animation, fluidity of movement just doesn't stack up. GitS is the first japanese animation where I looked at the character animation done and thought that it was on par or better than anything disney has ever put out... even when they were just rotoscoping stuff. I'm speaking as an animation student, while I'm reluctant to say that makes my opinion more qualified, I learned a lot at art school about what makes good animation, what to look for. I'm speaking on technical aspects alone here, objectively as possible. Gui really covered about all I could say on the matter. I would also reccomend checking out 'Wings of Honneamise' aka 'The Royal Space Force', and the first two Patlabor movies. Wings, at least, I would also rank much higher in the animation department than GitS, for many of the same reasons. The Patlabor movies I would rank at least about on par with GitS. I will also admit I'm rather critical of CG. I don't hate well done CG, but I've seen plenty of absolutely terrible CG that has wowed audiences the world over. In the American trailer for Innocence they even feature some shots of just such CG that really stands out (in a bad way) compared to the otherwise well done visuals. I wonder if that says something about the American view of CG, when you realize the Japanese trailer avoided such shots. while on the topic of quality animation, has anyone seen Wonderful Days? What did you think of that movies mixing of CG, cell and physical models? On a purely technical level what did you think?

Gasp! *clutches heart and falls over dead in shock* Just not right.......

Not sure I'd call it the best sci-fi movie I've seen in a while, but it certainly is one of the best retro style/nostalgia movies I've ever seen. Also it presents one of the coolest CG worlds ever rendered for the big screen.

Couldn't agree more. Though I don't mind considering the games since most of them are LOT better then the novels will ever be. At least in my opinion and I like a few of the novels. and fett is a gooey mess at the bottom of the sarlac pitt

They should just make it 1/48 scale. That should help solve alot of mechanical problems for sure -

Hey all, I have a small paint scratch on the chest of my metal material gundam. While not very large, because it's white plastic under royal blue, it stands out like a sore thumb. Any tips on how to touch this up? Any one have any idea what type of paint to use? I was thinking maybe the Blue Gundam marker would do the trick but I don't know how fine the tips are on those things.

Gobots were a line of toys known as machine robo. Like transformers the toy line was hijacked, brought over to the states, and given new cartoon series to go along with the toys. Diaclones and Machine robo were both lines riding the transforming toy trend.

Nothing has to be removed for the MG Zeta. That's the HGUC your thinking of.

from what I've been told they are all resin. So be careful with them. If your absolutly in love with the idea of a transformable Geta robo go for it. It does look like an awesome feat of engineering.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah. The only thing I can not forgive is the crap plastic that they used. Most other small errors I can over look.

The leigoss is a okay toy. As long as the QC doesn't get worse I may get more. I will most likely get a Shadow.

Another toyline that I loved was exosquad.

I think many people rank BT's as the best that the Transformers franchise has had to offer, but forget to take into consideration the plethora of other transforming robot lines and their merits. Also it should be noted that many other transforming toy's, while having great robot modes, have alt modes that more or less look like a robot bent in half. I personally don't mind being reminded that the robot I'm looking at used to be a car when it has a hood, fender or door sticking out. I do mind lame alt modes that look more like a robot contortionist than a vehicle or a piece of equipment. But that's just me, both approaches have their ups and downs, I just prefer transforming toys that put more emphasis on a good alt mode than a good robot mode. Of all transforming mecha designs the macross valk is still the best. It looks great as a robot and as a plane, and does not have that much kibble left over in either mode to tip off that it has an alt mode. The same can be said of mospeada's designs. Here is my list of best to worst in terms of transforming design, I know I've missed a lot of lines but I'm just listing the ones I collect. -Tie between Macross and Mospeada -Dorvack (cept the tulcus, ugh!) -Binaltech transformers -Diaclone and Micromen (AKA G1 most of series 1 - 2 and some of series 3) -RID -All the original non diaclone and microman molds from Transformers G1 series 3 -Machine Robo -All other transformer lines -Orguss (While I still love them they are one of the worst offenders of the bent in half alt mode) -Most transforming Gundam designs. While I love all the lines i've listed this is my OPINION on which ones have the best and worst transforming designs.
