1. They’re plastic. 2. That depends entirely on you and how carefully you build them. All pieces/parts are identical to the finished product, so the joints could be better, or worse. 3. I believe Yamato did make an SDF-1 kit awhile back, it was sold in limited quantities and was pretty expensive when it was new. Now it’s nigh-unobtainable. Expect to pay $1500 or more, I’d say, and you need to search Mandarake and, more likely, Yahoo Japan auctions to find one.

This is a design that would benefit from magnets helping to lock everything into place. Problem is, would the factory worker bother to respect the polarity? I wonder.

The 24, 25, 27 and 29 all share a common transformation and flight system (27 excepted) as well as the 30 and 31. That probably helps with design since a lot of the technical bits have already been done.

So that bio-neural processor was actually organic? I thought it was purely artificial, based on Myung’s neural net, and the “bio-neural” bit referred to its use of a real brain as a template to “grow” the artificial neural net. Well well. As for the small fold wave devices: possible, but for the purposes of an idol singer used purely for entertainment as opposed to an idol singer used as a psych-ops WMD, what purpose would they have served? Was humanity’s understanding of fold waves and their propagation properly understood then? Finally, since we brought him up: what was Marj’s damage, anyway? -

As for soundtracks, I liked Rey’s Theme quite a bit, as well as Rogue One’s main theme.

One thing I like better about Bandai’s already: seems to have a longer wing with wider chord. Yamato’s wings were always a bit small, to my eye.

Honestly, although I’ve been holding out for a Ba model, the fact that the Hs model is price dumping so hard is really making me question my resolve. I mean, what I really want most is the airframe and transformation mechanism, if you know what I mean. I have ZERO loyalty to any Aerial Knight’s scheme.

Damn, would you do another for money...? Also, T-Rex is assisting Arcadia with the redesign. It’ll be done right I’m sure, but I’m not certain there was enough wrong with Yamato’s effort to justify existing owners grabbing another, especially considering the inevitable Arcadia up-charge.

Pretty sure those are the standard Super Parts’ wing boosters in a horizontal position. Probably just unfolded the wing backpack to bring them to bear. Still, that one image there has just added 6.3% more dakka to the entire Delta franchise than we had before. Praise Jeebus!
