  1. Amazing piloting of the Hornet. I’ve never seen one flown so deftly. The Rafale is a gorgeous bird, and well flown. Pilot had stones. Eurofighter: god damn it. What a terrible waste of man and machine. My deepest sympathies to his family.
  2. What’s a six face hand polisher?
  3. Should I sand on the sprites, or off? And do you have a preferred technique to do that quickly on 18 missiles?
  4. Sprayed another coat and man, I don’t know...

Honestly, that’s a nice paint scheme. I’m tempted.
  6. First coat of paint.
  7. I'm in. But we won't see it before 2019, most likely.

Yeah, that's why my watch collection isn't as large as I'd like it. When a watch you aspire to is about $5900, it makes collecting Valkyries more reasonable. Then I realize that no, they're too expensive too.
  9. Ok good enough. I will massage then paint and report back. Thanks for the help Xigfrid!

Nifty. Hopefully the missiles will be included with Mirage's Supers.
  11. I heard that originally Lucas intended these movies to be the memories of R2-D2, which is why that droid has been in every single one. So how will they shoehorn it into the Han Solo film?
  12. Smooths out the surface.
  13. Well, everything still looks grainy. The missiles have an acrylic drop on the bottom which is still soft to the touch. The missile pylons also warped slightly. Thoughts?
  14. The first dip in Future. Hopefully this works!

Or buy the missiles Xigfrid made. We'll see how I do with them.

The shoulders should be folded 180 degrees. Just keep working them, seems like you got more paint on your parts than I did. Fortunately, as the paint wears down, it won't be noticeable. As for this Valkyrie being fun, well engineered, etc. I stand behind that. Mine was beautifully finished and, aside from folding the neck forward incorrectly instead of rearward, it pretty much fell together. I just had to remember to fold out the hooks. As for its overall aesthetic, it's a looker. In fighter I love its large wings with their sculpted edges and its gull wing arrangement, and the way the vertical stabilizers are integrated. The nose is nicely shaped and shorter than the needle-nose of the 25 series. Everything tucks away smoothly and looks right. In Battroid the legs are ratcheted everywhere and are well shaped, the torso locks with a positive action and the overall mode just looks right. The pod is a missed opportunity though. It works well, but half of it is a gunpod holster and the other half is a glorified iPhone charger we never see used. I also wrote earlier that it's about the only disappointing part of the toy, since it's made with metallic green paint instead of transparent green plastic. I also don't like that it didn't come with any ordnance for the hardpoints, but fortunately Xigfrid stepped in to fill the gap.
  17. Meh. That won't look too great in Battroid.

Who's the aunt? Mylene? And wasn't Pixie Squadron a bunch of Zentraedi women?

Heh. I didn't buy my 31C because of Delta. I bought it for Mirage, Best Girl and the only elf chick pilot yet, perhaps ever.

Good choice, too bad she's some $200 on Evilbay.

Hmm... so which Yamato girl would fit with Isamu's YF-29?
  22. You may need multiple applications of the floor polish. Several thin coats may do the trick.

I at least need the 31C Super parts. I might be interested in Chuck's 31something depending on how I like what they did with the radome.
  24. Do you use cyanoacrylate glue for these, or PVA, or something else?
