  1. After the problems Arcadia had with the Ivanov SV-51 ankles, I definitely don't blame them for making this release perfect.
  2. My proxy order for Armor parts is listed at ¥17,600. Still having them packed, but I'll see what the total cost is once they're ready to ship out.
  3. I have a more recent COBI corsair, and it's quite nice.
  4. I'll agree $160 is overpriced, fortunately it's only that much if you paid the (ridiculous) USD price for it.
  5. Here's one. Just stickers, panel lines, and a few small paint apps. Next time I'd probably paint the whole visor, though the sticker doesn't look too bad.
  6. They're actually quite nice little kits, I've built some. Pretty detailed given the size, styling, and transformation. Look very nice with some basic paintwork.
  7. Everything's pointing to Bandai going all-in on Macross now that they can sell outside of Japan. My big question is if we'll ever see any Japanese TV/DYRL merch officially here. The TV SDF-1 and Max/Kakizaki VF-1A HMRs are hinting Bandai is also focusing a bit on TV not just on DYRL which is more popular in Japan.
  8. All of my yes. Be nice to have some out that take up less space than the 1/60 Arcadia ones (though the PF is staying, so pretty)
  9. https://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000181923/ DX超合金 VF-31AX カイロスプラス(ハヤテ・インメルマン機)対応 スーパーゴーストセット Had to set up an extension so P-Bandai.jp would think I was in Japan.
  10. I'm going to be honest, sometimes you guys pick out inconsistencies I literally cannot see. Considering the real source material is (occasionally badly) hand-drawn animation from decades ago, I'm happy if it just looks decent.
  11. I think I just got charged by Amazon Japan for these, guess they'll be hitting soon.
  12. I know of one Polish non-Lego company that does a very nice corsair.
  13. More than anything else, Bandai seems to legitimately fear shelfwarmers. Which makes sense, as we aren't their customers, their customers are retailers who also hate shelfwarmers. A lot of their moves seem to be focused on avoiding doing what killed Yamato: spamming a bunch of figures out that end up on clearance, until retailers aren't willing to buy stock anymore. Which, yes, is really weird when you look at how they're producing the 20th version of metal build exia or strike, but somehow they always sell out without things going on sale much.
  14. I'm enjoying it, even if the Aerial went straight to magical flying beam-spam, and the MC for some reason goes trembling wet-noodle when anyone shows her any level of aggression in-person.
  15. I’d been wondering why the box was so long. I wonder why they changed? The old way of taping it behind worked fine.
  16. I guess they're going for the more serious overarching plot from the manga, rather than the episodic comedy of the original anime?
  17. Total paid, shipped with DHL to California, from AE: $135.74
  18. HLJ, and many other retailers, list the release date as the last day of the release month until they update the listing with the actual release day (which bandai usually announces at the start of the month an item ships). They just haven't updated the listing yet, no big mystery.
  19. Painting looks good, but I think I’ll go fore a more subdued set of greys and silvers.
  20. My CCS Lazengann just shipped from ShowZStore, looking forward to it.
