    You've said that several times and I just dont see anything but the most superficial resemblance. Its like saying a woman is just a cheap knock-off of a man. It looks very different. The Zaku does not have the same curves, the two-toe feet etc. Isnt the Zaku also piloted via a conventional cockpit? How is that the same as the Bioroid control system where the Bioroid reacts reflexively as if it were the pilot's body? Wait, aren't you a youth from the 90's or something? Its not really a tank then - self propelled artillery mb? But yes its still stupid. Really? Has more than TPB 1 been released for the kindle yet? I missed these the first time around.

    Not everyone agrees with this. Sure the Logan looks lousy, but the Bioroid system is awesome. Hey? How is Corg a better character than Zor Prime?

    I don't do too badly for someone in the Southern Hemisphere with no home internet access other than on mobile data. Its a wonder I don't miss more really. 1400 is not a massive number considering that Robotech was broadcast internationally in the 80s. Many of those people may be from South America. Sounds right.

    That is exactly how I perceived them from the beginning - one of the reasons I preferred the aliens. Meaning Macross 2, DYRL, Plus and Frontier I take it? Let's face it Delta and Mac 7 are nothing to brag about (while watching 7 I kept wishing the Protodevlin would go back to DBZ or Biobooster Armour Guyver where they belong).

    Pretty much sums up why I hate reboots in general. Minmay is no loss though. She's the main thing I hated about RT.

    Apparently the only thing the mask does is prevent you from touching your face (mouth and nostrils) which is how the virus gets in.

    So you are not impressed with the KitzConcept Dana Sterling prototype then? I think it looks pretty good. Their Rick Hunter/Hikaru fig isn't bad at all.

    And not an indicator that their just bad typists? If theyre doing it to be insulting (eg deliberately writing a name all in small caps) then I would agree.

    Of course my first question would be how would you know this? And my second would be whether these interactions could realistically be considered a sufficiently representative sample? Even if it were to be the case, I certainly hope you werent implying that these people were therefore less intelligent. The type of job you hold is not neccessarily an indicator of intelligence. In my country many highly educated people have no jobs at all because of the state of the economy combined with the government's racial policies.

    Not a factor for me though. I wish Macross would give the Zentradi more focus in new series.

    Not releasing anything for ages will have that effect, particularly with today's youngsters Its not like the old days where your fandom ran on nothing but memory and imagination.

    Hmmm...the same age as quite a few die hard fans of a lot of of other franchises, including Macross. Leaving RT aside, its not a bad strategy given that such fans: 1) Are loyal 2) Are nostalgic 3) Are established in their careers and generally have disposable income

    Did they ever do a Veffidas figure? I Just finished watching Macross 7 as she is the only character that appealed to me (that and the mecha piloted by the pink haired female - I forget her name - the VF-11 MAXL). I just wish they had given her a snappy uniform like Myria or Klan.

    The last hobby related prayer I did was a few years back for Cap to reissue the Inbit kits. No wait...it was the one that all Zentradii warship classes be available for purchase. Couldn't hurt I guess.

    To be fair both Macross and RT have their collecting challenges. Neither make it easy to complete your alien collection.
