if thats what we can expect to get from them , then I have no desire for them to do it. I dont have 1/72 any more to look at - I sold mine off. edit: just looked at some of the previous post pics and If they can match the work on the LV then ok, but if not, ... then dont bother. I think it may very well be a mess, especially if this were applied to an all white Valk Kinda sad that theres no Faith in them to do something like this.

go rent the special edition that came out a month or two ago and compare them its has a completely different feel to it which is just how this "TF" Movie seems to be going.

i read thru the thread and everything I want fixed is already here. other than production of certain valks/mecha alot of whats here is about Panel Lining and Tampo Printing and better Stickers and QC issues (toy testing) and Smaller Boxes. QC is my biggest gripe.

i just dont see that as any great improvement. The head looks too small also.

i cant speak as eloquently as that, but in the end to me R.tech wasnt what pulled me in to anime. I never thought of it as such. It wasn't until I saw movies like Appleseed or Akira that called my attention. To me R.tech was just another cartoon that I watched in the afternoon. Yes i enjoyed it and wanted to see more but it just wasnt' anime to me. course i wasn't anime savvy. I dont see Robotech or Macross as needing a renewal in the way of a Hollywood movie even now the "failure" of HG to artfully market Shadow Chronicles leaves me unwilling to believe that R.tech could be anything more than what it is, a favorite of the children of the 80s perhaps it will get the opportunity to have new life breathed into it. I just dont see it happening any time soon.

The first run of these had velcro window packaging. I figure that 1st editions of these aren't circulating as much as they used to. Also just ask who ever it is your buying from what they have. Most sellers probably have the 3rd or 4th or 5th releases of these in stock.

yeah you may want to wait on a revised yf-19 but the issues i think are minor the 1/60 vf-1 are cool for scale and if you have limited shelf space also stay away from the first run of the VF-1 1/48 series b/c the 2nd run has modifications like the nose cone. read the review i posted for you. Also be sure to check out the Blacklist in the For Sale section dont get scammed when buying.

this robot looks kinda thick when its all combined the individual parts look ok. I'm not real crazy about the eva-character-look-alikes Its Shinji and the gang all over again. Maybe it'll be good.

I put alot of work into catching up on the the valks I missed. I'm still missing a couple extras. Now that i've added up how much i've spent, its alot but i dont regret any of it. I own duplicates, but i've always collected duplicate of toy from toy cars to SOC. Usually I end up giving stuff away to kids in the family or the children of freinds. These I'm keeping.

the vf-0/vf-4 looks cool and it'd be great if they had full transformation i'd have to satrt collecting these. Especially if they come in the same height/scale as the 1/48
