The hands look like they couldnt grab anything. i dont get the D Vader reference but ok. i like the BTs and Alts. Guess its a G1 thing. However the only one I have liked so far is the new Ravage.

well he is Silver. As much as its been said before i just dont see how Bay or anyone associated with this movie could have said that this or some of the other designs would be accpted. I wouldn't have minded these new designs so much if they just werent so extreme. I cant find a common ground on these designs. As much as I want (hope) this will be a good movie the departure from and obvious disregard for G1 fans (me) doesnt let me like the movie. I hope that they prove me wrong and this is one great movie. But old spindly fingers there is gonna make it hard to even want to go to a matinee.

The logo is cool i just checked out that Megatron CGI full body shot man that is something. The argument has been that G1 needed a facelift and well they got one, only they forgot to add a new one. [attachmentid=39519]

Whatever it is I hope they let him mess with it alot. so they can fix whatever he finds wrong with it QC resolution should be paramount.

i'm rather surprized by those numbers. I really expected them to be much higher. i say do it again in a couple of months hopefully everyone here will participate.

I had mine on display for awhile and never go the stress marks then after reading about he issue i loosened the screws and so far so good. i dont think that they get worse without the pressure of the screw but since I dont think anyone has provided a solid answer as to why the marks are there (chemical reaction or the screw) why take any chances.

Same here I need a few more of those. I hope Yamato puts these out sometime this year. There arent that many more Valks that i want. ve1 , vt1 , yf21 , vf11b , sv-51 etc and the re-issues of Super max , Super mairia , Super Hikaru. Since i'm not familiar with the ships from MacII they're not high on my list but it wouldnt stop me from getting them either especially if they're 1/60 or 1/48 whichever is more appropriate edit : i worote mac II i meant Mac7 , either you get the idea

I really really really hope Yamato decides to go the 1/48 route with the VT-01 & VE-01 and a re-issue of the Super Hikaru , Max , and Miria would be great and ... NO Rub-on-Decals they dont work.

it may better to wait. Once the Shin Vf-O comes out hopefully all the QC issues associated with those will be resolved. Since the Shin version already comes with a ghost you wont have to go out of your way for the added expense of getting that as well.

yeah they could have survived on the rations but weren't they running out or was that in DYRL well either way they're both young and seeing a large potential meal certainly seems like a great way to avoid starvation also I think it was a decent way to have them begin to care for one another. She sees him as her savior and I think (being the man) he feels a need to protect her.

I would have liked to have seen more about Gloval and the bunnies and the threeZentran Spies. Nothing major just more back story. One more episode with Claudia would have been good too ; After Fokker's death. She handles it well when Hikaru and Misa come back from the Zentran ship and have their meeting with Gloval. (at least i think thats when she finds out.) It would have been something to have Hikaru beat up Kaifun especially when Kaifun and Minmei are fighting on the side of the road. Its when he complains about being paid with food and such after a concert Or am I getting the story wrong? Maybe Kakizaki could have had a more glorious death. In DYRL he gets shot down on earth and on the tv show its the explosion of the Barrier Point System. Maybe he could have been in a rescue mission or something. just a few thoughts.

I wish they'd make those already. the Moon act scheme is one I really want as well as the Enigma scheme and the Paris act. edited: Voted for the Vf-1 b/c its the best representation of Macross.

I agree that the movie fell short because it was an origins story. a retelling of the begining just wasn't a good idea to me The story could have started with all powers acquired and bad guy at the ready. I agree that taking Doom and completely re-doing him was wrong. He wasn't menacing in that costume nor was he really the Villain I know. Yes i understand that for the mass market introductions have to be made, but it can be done in 5-10 minutes. Chiklas worked but Alba brought nothing meaningful to the Character ; Cute yes but i didnt care about her. The love triangle with her and doom and richards was lame.

I'm still waiting in D.C. for this to pop up hopefull it will. looks really good.

Hollywood / Bay shouldn't have strayed so far from the original and then maybe just maybe I wouldn't dislike this quite so much. I just dont see this be all that great.
