1) Any chance of US/North America distribution/support (broken parts, etc)? 2) Can we get a perfect transformation 1/60 VF-1 using all the tricks learned from 1/48? I still want moving flaps and removable radome, please. Make BP-8 diecast. Removable heat shield is fine with me. Definitely have removable intake covers if they can't work out a latch. 3) Any chance of M7/VF-X2 designs (VF-19A/F/S, VF-22S, VF-17D/S, VF-11C)? 4) 1/60 Nos/Q-Rau from Macross Plus? 5) Ghost X-9? 6) Zendraedi 1/60 scale (Regult with accessories-pack most desired for me. Keep it under $70-80 and i'll buy many)? 7) 1/60 Destroids?!

You can back up the games (and other data) to a USB drive. This is what I did before putting in my 160GB.

I know the prototypes were done but Congress never funded them. We still use the M88 (on it's 4th or 5th variation, bigger power packs,e tc)... they just are too small to effectively tow an Abrams.. I've seen them lose controls, spin out, go sliding, etc. They're great at getting out a stuck Abrams and pulling the engine out, but for towing the best tool in the field is usually another Abrams.

It's not the player where you need these tweaks, but a decent AVR. You want louder dialogue, raise the center channel, which is where 90% of dialogue comes from. You want to dampen the explosions and SFX, lower the FL and FR speakers... Cream of the crop allow bass management, channel adjust, DSP, etc over 7.1 PCM stream.

We need an M1 based recovery vehicle far more than a flame tank (I was actually envisioning using M60 or tuna boat chassis myself. Application in Iraq would be limited but we could make many a jihadi-roasted-marshmellow in Afghanistan... The flechette-filled beehive round would be second to none for massed concentrations of troops, though. Git'r Done!

You said you're using ethernet right? Have you checked for collisions at your switch/router (assuming it's managed) and your duplex settings? The gigabit ethernet on the PS3 blazes so sounds like you have a bottleneck somewhere... With tweaking, you can get good performance out of the wireless, but it wasn't like that out of the box for me. I had to adjust settings both on the PS3 and my WAP itself and carefully monitor the network connection screen until I could get as strong a strength possible.

So, picked up the Pegasus micro machine the other day... Are the landing pod top and bottom halves supposed to be offset? The upper half overhangs the lower by about a cm or so to the front... there is detail on the underside of the upper half in the front and the lower half in the back on both sides. That and the symmetry make me think it was intentional...

So who's got Ratchet & Clank and the Conan demo? I got the Conan demo some time ago on the 360 so should be interesting to compare (have them both downloaded now). One thing that would be useful is to bring back the beehive round. That and flame tanks, maybe... but neither are considered very humane these days. Which makes me all the more for them.

It's only the M1A2 and later where the Commander can't control his .50 cal buttoned up. M1 and M1A1 always had that ability but the A2 changes took out that mechanism. The loaders machine gun (M240) was originally supposed to be air defense and is just pintel mounted on a skate ring. The TUSK already adds both of these features, and the ballistic shields. The 120mm is definitely useful in taking out bunkers and fortified positions with an MPAT or HEAT round. I fired off more than a couple to that effect at Al-Kut in 2003. Replacing the main gun would be the wrong thing to do. That's what IFV's (not that I'm fond of the concept) and more precisely grunts are for. The armor is there to reinforce and provide heavy support.

All those goodies in the 1/72 set would have been a GREAT thing for Yamato to have included with teh foldildo. Still no Monster-destroying arm cannon, huh? The FP themselves should have been part of the base release/model/SKU. Ah well...

Yeah, so far I've been VERY underwhelmed this year.... was on a high last year and reached a whole new appreciation with the HDDVD set. Almost the entire season was all setup to the final confrontation, which I thought was executed great. I think a Shatner or Konig appearance are all but guaranteed...

Ceramic white? I want the silver one they showed a couple years back at E3. All my home theater gear is silver and a silver PS3 is all I want. If it's a gimped 40GB, that's fine... I'll put my 160GB in it... well more accurately, think I'll skin it and put the silver skin on my original unit and move the gimped one to the bedroom...

I had to tinker with my wireless settings to get an acceptable performance. IIRC in the very beginning it might been less stable than desired as well (despite being in the next room from the wipe just on the other side of the same wall). The ultimate fix was to change to a channel not being used by anyone in the vicinity (12 IIRC) on the WAP and ever since it's been 90% and stable as can be with excellent speed. Supposedly this has been improved in later revisions (80GB and most likely the upcoming 40GB).

Think low budget X-men. Still pretty entertaining and the way they tied the arcs together for season 1 was pretty good. We'll see how they do with season 2... so far, so good.

60GB look like they're still available from Frys when I was there yesterday...

TNG was apparently recorded to film, but all of it's post production was done on video. It means the SFX will need to be done from a fresh transfer from the original film elements (if they exist) and it won't be cheap. Given the length of the series, it makes it dubious. Things in favor of an HD remaster are the the number of reused shots (especially of the Enterprise-D). I only had one of the original red/blue/yellow sets on DVD but the price of this remastered TOS on HDDVD is making me think thrice...

Clan is old school FPS/simulator stuff. Hmm... says Kamjin is not a player (was trying to send you an invite)... you have Warhawk, right? Have you been online with it yet? Haven't played since the weekend. Watched Dracula tonight (despite early reviews, it's great PQ for a great movie) and Silver Surfer but hopefully before this weekend, if not before.

They would have been new legs with paint jobs for the right model before the 1/60 CF (mass, not TRU), which IIRC was all set - Hikaru, Max 1A, Roy 1S and a new backpack piece, along with the FP and RMS1 missiles, as well. Ah well, this is the perfect opportunity to revisit the VF-1 line with 1/48 improvements and transformation scaled down to 1/60. As long as they make BP8 and the swingbar die cast, everything else should be good. of course. This time, a GBP with removable missiles, etc.

Hmm... wonder if it's possible for me to find one of these "fixed" Shin's...

The international market is such a big aspect to most hollywood productions these days... maybe this is an opportunity for WB to get something worked out with Big West and HG. I would prefer Sony or another company with big Japanese connections to do this since I could see them buying out both HG and Big West but WB I'm not so certain... Still, it couldn't be much worse to the source material than Transformers. Even hacked/mismeshed material like Robotech's synthesis of Macross, Southern Cross, and Mospeada...

The plan IIRC was going to include a new set of legs with the proper holes. This should have worked with everything but the first Hikaru 1A IIRC. I would have bought a set for my Roy 1S and Max 1A, if not my 2 CF as well.
