    Watched thru the movies this weekend so I've seen all of it to date. Golden Wings is a bit jarring since the story/designs are based on the manga. Also what number did you get? Also watched the Delta movie this weekend since it arrived. Not bad, better then the series and I started a watch of Monogatari.

    Seems about right on the timing, Frontier isn't the first nor the last series I stopped at just prior to the good parts. From my movie watching, yeah full agree on the recycling of the prior series. That seems to be a trend these days with franchise series, which is sad. Also understanding and if I could get a legit sub of the series I'd budget out for in a heart-beat. But let be ok for one and the flood gates open...

    Well it is a bit of a coincidence concerning my view of Sheryl. I only saw her in the movies as I stopped watching the series at episode 5. Something was urking me about the series proper so I opted to skip to the films, which in the films she seemed much nicer and more human then Mikumo. On that note if you can direct me to a way to watch the series that isn't the STD filled pirate site or poor youtube videos I'll give the frontier series a full go. Also looking for Zero as I wasn't able to see that before the outbreak hit my comp.

    My head canon is that delta is pulling the franchise to make M2 canon and with it in the 2090s it still is a possiblity. Also I find the sheryl Nome/Mikumo connection incorrect. Mikumo is more of a Sharon Apple knockoff, just with a physical form. Also in my recent rewatch of the series I noticed Mikumo is a bit of a bitch. Plus since most of her actions seems to me to make her other-worldly I never got the creep factor. With her being an artifical being the age thing was just to make her the youngest of the group in character (as Junna is irl the youngest of Walkure) as well as a possible flip on the 900 year old loli trope. Granted her existance is illegal, but if Lady M has half the pull shown that will be made an exception as time moves on. I'm not sure if any of this is really brotched in the movie, once my copy arrives (left Japan yesterday finally) I'll give it a watch. As for the movie I'm expecting Interstellar 5555: Macross edition, if I get that I happy.

    So basically since the writers just didn't bother exploring, their creeps. Not surprising from a franchise that has a race of child soldiers (zentradi), but that is can of worms another series tends to take on (Gundam). Most were designed via committee to check off boxes to attract new fans, but that's been known for a while. On a side note as a thought experiment: What if Mikumo was not a clone but an android. Do the cloning laws and rights still apply?

    The more I'm hearing about this, the more I'm seeing a case of 'the blinders being on' Honestly the fact that Mikumo is three years old is a moot point since she is an artifical being. At that point the age of the body has nothing to do with anything and her lack of social grace just proves that her creators see her as a tool and not a living sentient being. Mikumo has a only one main purpose, to be a fold singer. She's no different then the clone troopers in star wars.

    Ok, so news on this. This wasn't to announce the song coming to Uta Macross. Its was an announcement of an announcement, which happened this morning US time. The songs from the new album will be appearing in the game, but on 8/31 for Good Job and then the other two on 9/1 and 9/2, Still well ahead of the CD release. Also I hope everyone is enjoying the new updates: V.O.P. - Send your valks on missions for more materials Dress Upgrades - Add stats to your favorite costumes so that your divas can rock and look good. 6 track mode - also with new sliding notes. (not all songs converted just yet) If you have any questions just ask here or if part of the FB or discord ask there.

    Honestly I figured Roid maneuvered the king as well, especially considering what happened in ep 13.

    The main villain in Delta didn't live, he died in the last episode or if your referring to Windmere as a whole, they are going to die a slow death since the galaxy as a whole knows what they tried to do.

    Just checked on CDJapan, the MSRP for the 35th version is 7400 yen as well. Just happens to be on sale right now.

    From the imagery it seems to be linked to the premiere of "Good Job", it was a duo from the Skytree event earlier this year. Seems that Uta might be getting it (be it in a shorten form) prior to the single release which is next month.

    I doubt it. Since STO is on it's own timeline they basically are just needing CBS's ok to use assets (ie ship designs and character likeness) for their own stories. Honestly it it would sell I'm sure the Cryptic Team would have wanted to do B5 Online instead as several story arcs are very close to that series instead of star trek. At least the game is doing ok and giving old (and new with the next chapter) actors new work.

    My sister tweeted me about this, Area 88 is on our must have list as UN Squadron was one of the most played games on our SNES growing up. Only Secret of Mana had more screen time.

    I had a feeling that was the vessel you were talking about. Only issue was that it wasn't a secret construction. Most of the Jovian yards knew of it and was proud of it. Granted the most of locals didn't know how it was ultimately used. But it was widely known during construction. Edit: I will own up to my mistake. Did a little research and guess I didn't remember correctly. The celebration was of the construction crews, but their project was black.

    His animated version of level one of R-Type is really good too, minus the cheesy dialog.

    When I saw the twitter announcement I recruited my sister who is going to see if she can get him to sign something. Sending her with the insert booklet from vol 5 of the Delta series. Hopefully she can get it.
