I'm just going to use my Monsterarts effects for the buildings and call it a day. If they make specific Macross ones, cool but I'd rather have more missiles and spaceship diorama type effects.

Yeah, I have clear arm pieces so even if it doesn't come with them, I'm covered. As for the overall look, anything can be improved and this version looks good enough to me. I definitely wouldn't mind if it was improved for actual release. But as it stands I'd buy what they have shown as is.

That stand looks like golly gee, whopity doo goodness. I would like to have one in my collection. Yeti stands are the best general stands out there, imo but this is not just a stand, it's basically another toy to me.

Yeah, I've been hoping for this to come out since I saw it. I don't care about the extra arms, all stands have arms and this one looks awesome. I'd just replace the bottom arm with a clear one anyway. And effect parts preordered! Yeah, they are overpriced but so is everything. I specifically asked for these and got them so there was no doubt I would buy.

Oh crap! They really did just read some posts here and said, oh you want that? Here you go! OK, now make the GPB kit and ruin me since I wasn't convinced yet to buying in on the line when that came out. Edit: Also need attachments for the booster pack missiles... So, this is a Tamashii exclusive, meaning it will be available at NY/AE with no pre-order madness?

Haha, I don't get it either...seems like Bandai is loving the money they are making from Macross and that usually just means more milking! Hook me up, I'm ready to be milked! Hmmm...eww but
  7. Oh yeah, the figures included make that a really good deal. That le mans car is beautiful by the way.

Nooooo! I always assumed variants like the missile and scout pods would be full figures, not add ons. The only reason I didn't buy more regular Regults. If they come as add on parts, I'm SCREWED!
  9. I've seen similar for less than $200...Here, for example. Edit: Oh, and here for the same version and yeah, several as in a few hundred...
  10. Yeah, I never EMS or fedex anything unless I have to. No reason to pay more just to get something I've waited months already for a few days sooner.

Oh hell yeah! Exactly what I was asking for! Where are the pre-orders?! Edit: well, not exactly because I'd rather have the mini rockets from the armor packs but there is hope!
  12. Yeah, I've been eyeing that tank for a while but just never puled the trigger on it. It looks amazing!
  13. I don't like dealing with NY but I've never had a problem cancelling with them...given, I've only done it a couple times at most. I agree HLJ is the easiest to deal with but again, money talks. Saving $10-$20+ to get the same item in the end is a no-brainer for me. In all my recent comparisons of shipping prices, NY was actually cheaper but I always choose the cheap SAL with insurance if available. Anyways, glad this is out of the way and now I'm just hoping for an improved release of the 0A or another huge sale for the 0S like HLJ had.
  14. Every penny counts! Almost $30 less than HLJ and the ability to combine, plus they've actually been comparable or cheaper than HLJ for shipping means I'm glad I waited. I swore off NY a while ago because they pissed me off but their recent prices for Macross items are too good to pass.
  15. Yeah, the VF1 is definitely pretty easy but it's a few of those tight spots that terrify me when I don't remember exactly how to move them. The 4G just seems to go together and come apart easily with not much that can go wrong. Only tough part is figuring which way the folding arms go. I don't have anything else except the 0S, which I think is the best made Valk I own...Pretty easy to transform and very solid all around.

Got my CF from Mykombini yesterday...that was quick! Haven't opened it yet.
  17. I found the VF-4G to be the easiest to transform so far...Part of what makes the VF-1 seem easy I think is we've all been transforming versions of it most our lives. When I got my first 1/60 VF-1, I was able to most but had to refer to the manual and video a few times to make sure I did it right and didn't break anything. VF-4G was easy with no instructions or prior knowledge of anything about it.
  18. Based on how everything is setup, the DBZ and random Optimus Prime (that I just noticed) could probably be on another shelf behind the couch as you mention or elsewhere. That should leave the perfect amount of space for some Delta!
  19. I've never seen either in regular retail. Black Panther is a great figure though. Only movie style figure I own.
  20. Oh cool, I'm sure the film would be enough. I have some stuff displayed right above a window with no protection...I have curtains but not sure if they have any special uv coating besides what they would naturally block. Since they are above the window and never get direct sunlight, I'm hoping they will be ok.
