  1. Thanks for the info! Again, confirming that the specific cars I want for my collection basically don't exist. Money saved!

Nice find! I din't know they had that much stuff in the line.

Yep, I had/have the VF-1S as well and I used to take it with me everywhere as a kid. Battroid mode wasn't too bad.

My VF-1S seems fine in comparison to other versions. But I consider all Valkyrie transformations pretty fiddly, except maybe the early 1/55 and the toy I had a s a kid that these HMR's remind me of: Obviously, HMRs are much nicer and a bit more fiddly.
  5. I like that and pretty much all yellow lambos but it would be this, but in yellow.
  6. Cool story brah! No seriously, we share a lot of similarities in collecting. I don't think you can ever count anything out because the market always moves cyclically...anything that was popular enough has a strong chance of coming back again and often in a better form so 1/48 figures will most likely be back. Someday. Probably not within a few years though. I have versions of the VF-1 from back when the first ones came out to today but I only one one 1/48, The Max VF-1J with Super Parts and that has been buried somewhere in my storage for so long, I don't even remember if I truly have it other than finding a receipt for it recently. I also have a lonely set of 1/48 Armor Parts sitting behind one of my 1/55 VF-1S' waiting for a Valkyrie to someday wear it. Like you, I got into other things like cars before I ever found more reasonably priced 1/48's to buy so my 1/48 collection is pretty pathetic. Hopefully, that changes someday but right now, I'm very happy with the new 1/60 stuff that's been coming and allowing me to catch up with those.
  7. Nice one! I'd like a 25th Anniversary Countach in Yellow...but again, my (wallet's) luck, I don't see it available with a quick search. I'd like one of each version of the V12 Lambos that have come out since the Countach.
  8. Let's just hope Bandai releases this one:
  9. Another beauty! Heading over to my case to check out my cars before I pass out...
  10. Well, I found out my 959 actually is priced higher than the Autoart one, mine is from Motorbox. I never bothered comparing the differences in detail since mine was a gift but I suppose part of the difference is availability and the rare colors the Motorbox version comes in. I'm mainly a VW group guy and specifically Audi and Porsche but I like everything under the umbrella. My grail other than the Sport quattro and 959 I already have is the B5 RS4 but I didn't find any for sale anymore. I should have just bought it back in the day when I had the chance. Anyway, the good thing about my preference is no one makes the models I want so I have nothing to buy. Money saved!

OK, thanks guys! Status says "Payment Accepted" and that's it. NBD, I can wait.
  12. NP! I just noticed you are in my part of town. See you around! I need to see if I can make it out to the MW Convention.

How long does it take for Mykombini to ship stuff? I paid last week for my CFs and still no shipping notice.
  14. Those are the BOTKYRKA Wall shelfs from Ikea (also available in different colors). They have hangers on the back and I just drilled screws into the wall and hang the shelves on them. I can't remember but I think the hangers are adjustable to make it easy to line up to studs. They are cheap, sturdy, clean looking and very functional...best thing about them is they are metal, which allows you to do stuff like this (the magnetic Tachikoma):
  15. LOL, I know huh? But I trust Yeti makes a solid product that is designed to do this. I'm actually considering adding two more Valks to this stand when I get M&M if Yeti thinks it will hold. As for the Han quote, I figured it would not only cover some holes I'm too lazy to fill, it also deflects some light away from the Valks just in case.
  16. Updated my wall mount with some new parts (just for the 1S). It's subtle but makes a huge difference for the better to me! I was wondering now, do you think the wall mount would support 5 Valks if I added a dual arm to each side? I think the anchor to the wall is solid, just not sure about the bend strength of the acrylic being pulled down with all that weight. Thanks yet again Yeti!
  17. Nice one! I need one of those...I've had the armor for it sitting around with no figure for years!
