  1. Good; just be careful though that they haven't had it sitting on their pegs for a while. I bought two tubes the other day at a local automotive store (they ended up shipping them from another store, so I couldn't check them) that were dried out and useless, so I need to return them. They tend to go bad after 6 months or so, so these had to have been sitting around for some time. Keeping receipts is a good thing.
  2. As have I; part of me wonders how true that really is, given the disparity between the two series' productions. I can imagine a big sign out front of Starfleet HQ: "Welcome to Starfleet Command. Friday: Mighty Ducks Vs. Starfleet Commodores. Sat: Tom Jones Live" 😛 Also: now we know why the Rikers have a force field around their house: to keep that bald bear out (hopefully you're familiar with The Great Outdoors!) Just wow (on their part, not yours Seto!). 25 bucks to get sick off of food you'd find at a county fair? For that money, you'd be better off with a classier place, such as Burger King.
  3. I've experienced that as well. Plastic Welder is less an epoxy than it is a 2-part adhesive that is stronger and less brittle than epoxy. it also bonds much more closely to the plastic; in fact, the transformable fighter I designed is partly built from plastic welder (cured into shapes and sanded/ cut).
  4. I use this: https://www.permatex.com/products/adhesives-and-sealants/epoxies/permatex-plastic-welder-25-ml/ Sets in 4 minutes, cures in 15 and can hold weight in 1 hour; can be sanded/ painted, and unlike putty, is structurally strong. Also useful for repairing breaks and other damage in plastic.
  5. Well, in all fairness: their makeup is most likely coming from Walgreens at this point. At least they're in the actual 25th century. Er, yeah... I think I'll just pop in WoK on my pc. Especially since Riker didn't stress out over that on TNG, and that crew, while mainly human, did have its' fair share of aliens. On that note: he didn't seem to stress out over "imposing his values" on human members of differing ethnicities either. So thankfully, the books were left out of the shows.
  6. I know how that feels! You write something out and it seems good, then you revisit it some time later; ideas that seemed to work before don't gel as well, while you have all-new ideas that crop up while picking up where you left off. (I have a graphic novel that I started drawing in 2011, and I'm currently only at page 46 as of last night in drawing it!)
  7. Right? That's my complaint; she should be effectively ageless. It's sad when the MMORPG is doing a better job story-wise than the actual movies/ shows. O.o Yeah. I've read some of those, and much to my tremendous consternation. :puke When their best story idea for the TOS Movie comics (DC) is The Return of Finnegan, that's all the impetus one needs to head for the nearest escape pod and pray that it's Tuesday already (hope someone gets the joke!). Nearly shot soda all over my monitor over the White Man's Burden comment! lol
  8. Frankly, the "Borg Queen" looks more like she escaped from a local nursing home and just needs her meds....
  9. And don't forget the dancing pandas! lol
  10. Thanks! That reminds me: I should do one of yours as a globe (unless it's supposed to be flat!).
  11. Hey, that's not bad at all Thom! I use Photoshop, so it's a bit of a different beast, if you will. It took me nearly forever just to get Alpha Centauri IV done up:
  12. Well, I couldn't resist. But I only had 10 minutes, so please don't kill me Thom:
  13. How about this as an ending scene: the planet, being totally destroyed, now circles the sun as a cloud of relic-strewn debris in space, to the tune of aforementioned Yakety Sax. And some music for it:
  14. Eeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...................
  15. It probably has smoke residue from the house on it. I would try wiping it down with a mild detergent (like dish soap) and warm water and see if that helps.
  16. Yeah; Hasegawa's stuff seems to have a lot of faint panel lines. it doesn't take a lot to obliterate them.
  17. Then you'll need to use a special cream for two weeks...
  18. That ankle joint looks hella thin! Is it metal or something?
  19. UPDATE: while waiting on parts from a friend, I just wanted to see what I could do with some wood and a bit of boredom: The base hubs for the booms shattered just as finished the upper booms, so I got to work: Basically complete booms; having a hard time though with the base components. I also need replacement parts in the legs as well : I truly despise working with wood because of the mess, not to mention a plethora of other reasons that I'd rather not discuss. Easier for me to work with plastic overall. Anyways, these are just fill-ins until I can get real parts for it. ˙˙˙˙pǝun┴ ʎɐʇS
  20. I think what we need in this is for Picard from TNG to give a "Reason You Suck" speech to Picard from PIC.
