Thanks @no3Ljm. Yeah the extra packs are really difficult to come by. I'm still looking for the VF-11B armor pack. The YF-19 is the least articulated of the trio, and really need the parts to bring out its dynamism. That said, the chest replacement part for YF-19 has its faults. The chest ball joint in the extra part is too small, so the whole upper chest becomes too loose. Easily fixable though, with any coating material to thicken it up (I just wrap the ball with some tape).

What @PsYcHoDyNaMiX said. Some Jap stores list Tamashii exclusives, but the main ones like HLJ & Amiami don’t. Try using proxies like Buyee or FromJapan. If using proxy, you’ll still need to provide the buying page link to them. Up until fairly recently, we outside Japan could still view the buying page (although we can’t purchase directly), but now the page will not even show unless using a VPN or other browser extensions. You have up to 05 February to put in the PO. Tamashii exclusive quantities are made-to-order. PO window remains open until a set closing date, or the set limit is reached. If the set limit is reached very quickly, Bandai usually opens another PO window the following week or so, for a new batch with a new delivery date. This is what happened for the 1/48 Strike packs. The initial batch sold out within a few days, and on following week Bandai re-opened PO for new batch for delivery a month or two after that initial batch.

@no3Ljm So it looks like it’s the same initial batch. I’m quite surprised the PO window is a good 2.5 months, but I previously never tracked how long P-Bandai PO windows are.

Hmm are we sure the Ghost is being re-issued? The first batch (PO started last 18 Nov) is scheduled to be out in May. Can't seem to find any info on PO being re-opened again.

Kinda weird.. It keeps showing 'For Sale Soon' for me even after you posted this, which made me thought they were late in opening the PO. After few more minutes it went straight to 'Pre-orders closed' lol. Edit: It shows 'For Sale Soon' if I'm logged out, and still do. Only shows its updated status when I'm logged in. What a weird behavior. No matter, already got PO yesterday.

Last Macross game I played was Macross DYRL shooter for Sega Saturn. This new shooter would be a good time to get back into Macross gaming.

Thanks @no3Ljm. Handling these 2 birds & together with the VF-11, with makes me realize again how much thought must have gone into them. A few totally new VFs just for this OVA alone that aren't direct derivative of older valks.

What stuck out most in Kenobi was the anti-climatic Vader reveal.. where's the imperial march theme?! Compare that to his Roque One reveal and this one just sort of fizzles..

Minor shuffle of valks in my display, and the Arcadia YF-19 is being moved a bit. It's always a pleasure to have an Arcadia valk in hand, especially in Fighter they always feel solidly put together. Nevertheless, specific to the YF-19, there are couple of personal peeves: I really like high-speed mode of the YF-19 (using a VF-19 Advance here to stand in). To go from a FSW jet to something that resembles more of a missile is a visually striking transformation, and a mode that somehow doesn't really appear much when googling images of the YF-19 on the net.

Ah finally a longer trailer.. Hopefully it recaptures what made Initial D great. I can see how Fujiwara will make a cameo as an older version of himself, perhaps be one of the final opponents too lol.

May be worth picking it up if it comes up for good price. Just to admire & whoosh it around in Fighter. It was easy decision for me, knowing the issues, as I’m more partial towards Fighter mode of any valk.

I like this comparison pic, it is pretty awesome.. I feel, the Toynami box is more like the toy instead and the valk inside is embellishment. It just feels all sorts of wrong, yet probably the best thing that can be done for the awful valk.
