Correct me if I'm wrong but Jetfire and Starscream used to be friends on Cybertron. When Megatron finds Jetfire buried in Antartica they reactivate him to destroy the Autobots. Near the end he switches sides and ends up fighting with Optimus Prime. EDIT: D'oh. Didn't see Jedi Knight's post.

But. Aren't Digital Mission VFX, VF-X2 and Macross M3 all considered canon? Heck. They were even included in the 20th Anniversary DVD (in the timeline). They're all video games too.

Finally. Anything by Paul Dini during the early to mid 90's are GOLD (Jerry GOLD). Batman: The Animated Series Batman and Robin Batman Beyond I wonder when they're gonna release Spiderman: The Animated Series (also from the mid 90's when it was on FOX)?

The Karate Kid (Daniel-son) works at Marvel? All things aside I can't wait for Spiderman 2 to hit the theaters. I don't care whether it's Venom, Lizard, or Rhino for the next major villian. At least the franchise seems in good hands.

Well. If you take into account the last minute before Guld takes out the X-9 (where Guld in Battroid Mode shields the last incoming shots). The are literally NO transformations during the entire battle. Would Battroid and Gerwalk modes be ineffective? Was Fighter Mode the ONLY way to beat the Ghost?

Is there any way to watch the new trailer (#2) outside of the website? I wanna see the full sized vid but I'd rather not use streaming video. Tifa looks kick ass too.

Welcome to the MW Forums promethem5! Make sure to check out the pinned topics at the top of the page (in each sub forum). They'll help your transition a LOT better. Many of us MW'ers own the Macross: DYRL "Perfect Edition" DVD. It's not too expensive, GREAT video, good subs, and four trailers. Check out E-Bay instead of Amazon (they know NOTHING about Macross).
