    To me Urban was a perfect Dredd. He didn't even make the film crew remove the helmet and he did that great grumbly scowl. He also has a lower face that doesn't give away his age, kinda in a way that he didn't apear old or young.

    While working on the Bugu, I actually contemplated trimming the gear so it wouldn't turn the eye stupid while posing the head. It's an interesting gimmick, but also frustrating.

    Maybe some sound effects for weapons or thrusters or maybe the signature macross mecha metallic stompy echoes from walking.

    I forgot to mention that I also like the sliding missile effect to give a more anime look to those launchers. The ankles also have a joint that can reduce or extend the height. If you couple that with the way they did the thigh joint you can bring down the height to be spot on with those above height diagrams.

    I just got my Spartan earlier and I love the joint tightness and I am surprised at the tilt for the ankles. I also am so glad the printed markings look so great and am super thankful that they didn't use crappy stickers. It's also a lot of heft for the price. Now they just need to finish the rest of my wish list.

    After looking at the size comparison, you could argue that bandai got it right and the one in the chart is too short because they messed up the feet.

    It's a bit rare for an non hero mg kit these days. The re 1/100 kits are a bit more free with the lesser known mobile suits. I still would really like to see a hg kit of the refined Barzam.

    I was also wondering about the refined barzam. I would love a hg, but I think bandai would probably do a re 1/100 if it happens.

    Loved his non grunge stuff as well.

    He had been giving interviews about recent drug problems and talked a bit about rehab, but I think it's a bit soon to say what the real reason was for his suicide. Whatever the reason, he will be greatly missed.

    Since you're using humbrol paints, have you tried their clear coats? I personally have never used their stuff since nice most of their products sold near by are enamels. what other brands locally are available in your area?

    When I did enamel painting, I used testors or model master top coats. Their lacquer dull and gloss coats are pretty good for enamels. I oddly enough had the same problems with tamiya acrylics over enamels and sometimes over lacquer paints. But I think if you take your time and go lite with your top coats and do a few layers you'll do fine.

    I have a really hard time getting into avp. It felt like they took everything that made those creatures great, then washed them down for the kids.

    Bandai's choices are always interesting. Since some models and mock ups used in film didn't have clear parts, they left out clear parts on the kit. They did a similar odd one with the storm trooper kit. The ones in the og movie had stickers for the rear vents on the helmet and the bandai kit didn't mold the vents either. They did include stickers and waterslides so it can be movie accurate. I still say those are odd decisions for a realistic kit.

    She's 19, so hopefully it won't be too much of an issue, but I think I will take your advice and maybe check out the first few episodes and go from there. She was actually the one that made me watch that odd like able Dragon Maid show.

    Last exile was fairly good. I liked a lot of the designs and found myself liking most of the characters. I have the sequel and plan on watching it with my daughter soon.

    I think the gm's are a bit thin, but still cool. I really like the weapon set,especially that sniper and the 0080 style head.
