    I may be on the unpopular side of the fence, but I'm a fan of it. I know there's lots of talk about the over-engineered looking parts like the shin pistons, but I can see needing something like that to absorb flights, leaps, and falls... especially when it's such a chonk. I imagine some kind of system like that had to exist under the old armor. Then again anime magic, right?

    Yup, just got mine. At first when I looked in I thought I was doomed... only until I slid out the "tray" did I realize just how good the shipping was done. Super simple and super effective. Kudos to AmiAmi. They were worth the extra investment.

    My VF-19 Advanced and this Bandai 21 will be displayed together, both with fast packs. Also, I really like this display, nice and clean. I still need to get Keith's fast packs/drakens.

    Lol, I just can't help but think that someone at Bandai was reading all the grief across the macross forums comparing the DX-21 to everything else and said... I'll show you something to complain about... /drops pallet on assembly line of "Erlikon AAB-7 anti-aircraft laser..." Camera trails away with maniacal laughter while at the end of the assembly line drops hundreds and hundreds of effed antenna... Meanwhile the assembly workers are like, "Whelp, it's all busted, but I'm not paid enough to care," /clicks jacked up antenna onto figure. First world problems, but the anxiety is real.

    Naw man, make sure in your will that you establish the creation of a mausoleum within which your collection will be displayed with you for eternity... Or until Buy'n'Large decides to abandon the planet or Weyland-Yutani unleashes xenomorphs on Earth or Cthulhu rises from the ocean and turns us all into spaghetti monsters. Whatever best suits the reader's narrative - can also choose your own adventure. This McGuyver'ing is awesome.

    Since the antenna is removable, what are the odds we can just 3d print replacements? It's all one color, one piece, right?

    Very cool! I went with an RGB curtain behind one cabinet set and displates behind another... however, I saw a really neat square, flat lcd panel at a local business and it made me think to try what you've done here. Need to ask the owner what panels they are.

    Isn't it exciting? It's like the season of the box of chocolates... You won't know what you got until you open the box! /bangs head on wall... I'm on a streak here with a jacked up YF-29 and VF-27... There's no two without three, so dreading receiving the YF-21 now.
