    Didn't know it till last night but Ralph Macchio is older than Thomas Ian Griffith (Terry Silver) by several months. Which is funny as Terry was a Vietnam vet and Danny was still a teenager when KK3 was made.

    Palpatine was a great villain that complimented the prequels and original trilogy, definitely one of my favorite characters. The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise is also one of my favorite scenes in all of Star Wars!! Painfully Palpatine was used as a cheap plot device in RoS. Shame on you JJ!! Still, I think it can't be hard to create new villains. The Mandalorian, Clone Wars, etc had a bunch!

    Haha, I should have mentioned the movie cost us about $100 since we saw it at a Alamo Drafthouse. Their food an drinks ain't cheap!

    So... I gave the film another watch and on HBO Max this time. I thought it was better the second time, still not as good as it should have been though the actors did save it. I'll give credit to WB making it a streaming movie and IMHO their movies are way better than what is on other streaming networks. I still think The Matrix is salvageable and WB should use the IP to make new movies, a series (animated, live, and/or both), games, etc. They should not involve the Wackowskis beyond advisor roles though.

    According to Wiki there is no future plans for Matrix which doesn't surprise me. This seems like a love letter to the fans similar to Serenity and Firefly. However, what wouldn't surprise me is WB bringing back Matrix as a series, live action and/or animated, to their HBO Max streaming. The Matrix is a very strong IP and could be made well with the right person at the helm. Just not a Wachowski bro/sis please.

    Welp, waited to finally see it in the theater for NYE date night. It was silly and we wonder where their budget really went to for the movie. Catering? That being said, I think modern Hollywood movies made me realize why I love anime. Anime has a lot more exciting originality than what is dumped by Hollywood with their constant sequels and reboots. On a side note my wife wants to dress like Lexy so I guess that's a win 😍

    I have friends posting on Facebook that 2021 is now a horrible year because Betty White died. She was 99 FFS! We should all be as lucky that we could live that long as healthily and happy as she did.

    Heads up the movie is back on HBO MAX. We're half-way through watching it for the first time. It's goofy AF, lol.

    Though we have HBO Max we avoided seeing Matrix4 till we see it NYE for date. Surprisingly most of the theaters in our area will be closed over the New Year's weekend. Thankfully our local Alamo Drafthouse will play it so we'll have dinner at the same time but their seats are nowhere near as nice ICON's. Seriously, ICON has warming seats!!

    It's been a ATTACK ON TITAN Christmas for me. My wife got me the #6 Colossus edition and a one year subscription to Crunchyroll to watch the first half of the final season. I finished both and can't wait for the final Colossus edition and the last half of the final season. That being said I'm a huge Macross and Space Battleship Yamato fan but IMHO Attack on Titan is the best story in anime and manga that I ever experienced. If you disagree then let me know what is more epic that I can watch it on Crunchyroll 😁

    We finished it last night. It was OK but the campiness is getting old and boring. When it comes to current super hero comic book series I'd say Prime has the best with THE BOYS and INVINCIBLE.

    We watched VIKINGS and The Last Kingdom back to back this year so we're kinda Viking'ed out but this looks really good!

    My wife and I planned on seeing it as a date night movie on NYE. Don't feel like seeing Spider-Man again so I'll still watch the Matrix in the theater. I won't be telling my wife about the bad reviews beforehand though 😅 On a side note this depresses me as 2021 has been a very weak year for movies. I hoped Matrix 4 would change that, ugh.

    I still hadn't seen the second Amazing Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield, not even clips on Youtube. Didn't care for the first film so I guess I gotta check it out now, lol.

    Saw it tonight. It was great, loved it! Met all my expectations and then some!! Best MCU film since End Game and the best Spiderman MCU film too.
