  1. I'll watch it and though I'm sure it'll be good I just think a film would have been better as this could feel dragged out. Right now it's pushing the nostalgia buttons from the CLONE WARS and REBELS which seems overdone lately.
  2. FOX's Gotham was really great, campy and violent plus gave a lot of praise to all things Batman, especially Tim Burton's films with having Paul Reubens returning as Penguin's father just like in Batman Returns.
  3. Heh, Chris Pratt as a Navy Seal out for revenge? I did say years ago he would have been a great choice as Chris Kyle in American Sniper. Raised by Wolves is a pure sci-fi show and its great being so, doing stuff that I don't see other sci-fi shows do and reminds me of the sci-fi books I used to read back in the 1980s.
  4. I think THE BOYS is the best superhero series on streaming and it's not even DC or MCU IMHO, lol. Seriously, can't wait for the next season!!
  5. Reminds me of ANTHEM but without the flying. Which is a shame as ANTHEM did have potential.
  6. Looks good, I guess. I think a movie would have been better and I suspect Disney will milk the nostalgia like everything else Star Wars related lately.
  7. Saw it today and while I thought it was good I still think THE DARK KNIGHT is the best Batman film and namely for the followings reasons below: ALL THE CHARACTERS IN THE BATMAN WERE FLAT!! Robert Pattinson was great as Batman but his Bruce Wayne was weak AF, zero charisma. Jeffrey Wright was a weaker Commish Gordon than I expected. You just can't beat the TUMBLER!! That being said I am looking forward to a sequel and perhaps it can be really great like the THE DARK KNIGHT was after Batman Begins.
  8. I thought Yellowstone was on Paramount+ too but it's on Peacock now which apparently confuses other folk too. Same goes for South Park where there was COVID specials on Paramount+ but the actual series is on HBO Max. F'ing stupid TBH.
  9. Got Paramount+ super cheap for 3 months at $2 but their original content doesn't seem that great when compared to HBO Max and Netflix obviously. Lots of CBS prime time and Star Trek shows that I'm not interested in though Halo is coming soon this month to Paramount+. Any suggestions?
  10. Went old sci-fi tonight and re-watched THE FLY remake from 1986 with Jeff Goldblum. My wife found it gory, lol. But still a great movie and I'm surprised we hadn't seen another remake yet. EDIT: Forgot to mention THE FLY is on Prime.
  11. Half way through Peacemaker and we love its intro. That being said DC's superhero shows are the anti-MCU in terms of its rated R content, something that Disney needs to rethink IMHO.
  12. I liked Affleck as Batman way more than I expected and it's a shame he didn't direct himself for his own film. Though I put most of the blame on Affleck and his love of substance abuse that ultimately killed his Batman.
  13. Recommend Tinder Swindler and Fyre on Netflix next then. Both are documentaries and the Fyre Festival is mentioned in Inventing Anna and found the few major things in common with all this is young people that are sociopaths that live on Instagram. Unreal.
  14. Another Elvis movie? Amazing what Hollywood thinks the audience wants to see these days.
  15. Remember the actor that played Dodson in the first JP? WTF https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cameron_Thor
  16. Nemesis was decent though casting baby faced Tom Hardy as the villain several years before he became really famous as a star didn't help, lol. That being said, I'd love to see Tom Hardy back in a new role for another Star Trek film.
  17. My daughter will watch it but I'll be look at my smartphone when that happens, lol.
  18. I have a Jurassic Park Signed First Edition Franklin Library book that I'll sell ya, lol. I bought it several years ago as an investment piece and plan on selling it on Facebook Market Place very soon.
  19. I think Disney should stop milking the Skywalker saga and move on to a new saga that takes place after or previously in KOTOR. The nostalgia is starting to wear off.
  20. Boom! Yes! It couldn't be done back in 1993/4 because of technical limitations but it sure AF can be done now!!
  21. Ivan directed some of the most hilarious movies from my youth. RIP.
