Watching Pennyworth on HBO Max. It's about Alfred Pennyworth years before he was the Wayne's butler in Batman. It's well made but I don't like it as much as my wife does. Definitely not for kids.

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
TangledThorns replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
CHAINSAW MAN is stupid good. Wildest anime I've watched in years. -
Really? That's disappointing

Wife and I discussed a future trip to Orlando during this time in December because it was my son's birthday this week. But... after this weekend's arctic blast I think we'll risk hot weather over cold, lol.

That would be very cool if Gunn can pull that off.

It is a huge mess for Gunn to clean up and good for him on ignoring the haters. It won't be easy or quick either, especially with more Snyderverse films (THE FLASH and Aquaman2) to be released next year.

Wow. I used to be a paratrooper in the US Army but won't sky dive unless I really have to, lol. I didn't really care for Tom Cruise in his younger days but started to appreciate him more and more since Minority Report. -
OMG, I knew the film would be long but not Infinity War long. My bladder won't survive, lol.

Science and Technology MEGA THREAD
TangledThorns replied to Max Jenius's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Uh... The THE HILL article I posted specifically mentioned weapons coming from the fusion research, not powering carriers or subs. The US military isn't an altruistic organization, lol. -
Huh... I actually assumed it was being released in 3D. I must have missed that memo, lol. Shame tho, as the first AVATAR was amazing in 3D and was hoping for a repeat experience.

Will kids go see it or is it more for adults? I'm thinking the latter.- 66 replies

Science and Technology MEGA THREAD
TangledThorns replied to Max Jenius's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
The US military is certainly encouraged! Oh boy, what could go wrong with that?? Five takeaways from the fusion energy breakthrough https://thehill.com/homenews/3774082-five-takeaways-from-the-fusion-energy-breakthrough/ But U.S. officials hinted at military applications. Fusion is “an essential process in modern nuclear weapons” and a milestone like this one was a strong argument for American military power, Adams noted. This needs some memes to get my point across too 😎 -
Wife and I plan on seeing it on New Year's Eve after a spa visit then come home and be asleep in bed before midnight, lol.

I'm just wondering if we'll see a sequel to THE BATMAN now? Wouldn't surprise me if we don't now.

If you didn't know yet Kirstie died from colon cancer and I was probably found really late too. I recommend getting a colonoscopy when you're of age or talk to your doctor too. Got mine at 45 a month after going to the emergency room for 'mild' colitis. Thankfully my colon was healthy but still its nice to know I'm good for the next ten years too.
