I wonder if Bandai has implemented some sort of "bulk delivery" schedule for Tamashii items that happens after the retail delivery to people's homes and that's why CDJ and NY are getting it a week late?

HMR release news is so odd. I'm always happy for whatever we're getting while simultaneously let down it's not something else. C'mon Bandai, pick up the release pace! One every 4 months will not suffice!

Shizuka is new too... still needs to build a list of stores to window shop at before pulling the trigger (on those items that don't sell out instantly). Unfortunately, experience is expensive to earn in this hobby.

Consolidated Megazone 23 Toy/Model Thread for 2017-2018

I've had Megazone playing in the background while I've done other stuff the last couple nights. I liked Megazone 23 Part 1 more than I remembered. The ending though is pretty rough. The clip show nature of it perhaps? Had the TV show played out maybe we get to a better resolution. Megazone 23 Part 2 was pretty jarring. All the characters you know done completely different in styles. While the ending is certainly a tidier bow on everything, it felt really unsatisfying. Again, it's in the background, so all the chase scenes, which I'm sure were done well, just seemed like filler. Only started Part 3 but I'm already 'meh' on all the hacker stuff so this isn't going to go well. -

Went to my local TRU today while i waited for my take-out order... I love taking my kids there and letting them check out all the toys and remembering how I used to be so excited to go there. It was sad to think we won't be doing that any more. One funny bit though, there's a giant NOW HIRING banner in front of the store. It's kind of hard to imagine people applying.

Anyone have an extra agV20? I thought I had one pre-ordered but I was wrong. I think Arcadia should do a line of 1/24 action figures and then resurrect the votoms license in that scale. It would jive with their Megazone toys and they could do Macross stuff, maybe patlabor also...

Looks great, I also think you could just expand the margins between panels and write text there to save a ton of time and effort.

I really doubt the delay has anything to do with looking at finished products and making changes. The answer is almost certainly more banal... A shipping delay, a manufacturer delay, a higher priority toy...
