If they do store credit it will hopefully be in yen... I'll apply it to my purchase and buy exclusives elsewhere going forward.

Okay, so if Bandai had their order cancelled, they should have found out about it a couple days before the delivery date when they received a "Sorry" email instead of a "Please remit money" email. So... they wouldn't be waiting for a huge refund then...

I don't know, I assumed that also. Another possibility though is that TWE don't allow cancellations so NY makes you pay up front to avoid anyone trying to cancel their order. Either way, if Bandai didn't deliver then NY should be getting a huge refund and it's possible NY is just sitting on its hands while it waits to receive its refund at which point they'll send out an email to everyone with a refund and "Blame Bandai!"

It would be so great to hear the behind the scenes of this debacle. Sadly, the drama is probably something really mundane like the toys are in a warehouse that is locked up because an employee is on vacation or a tax lien or something. I wonder if NY and the other resellers got some warning from Bandai they ignored like "P-bandai items are not for resale, please discontinue your purchases, existing orders are cancelled." At my work those are the emails that always get stuck in the spam filter

If they don't deliver they'll offer store credit before refunds so I don't think there's that much of a need to worry about solvency. I don't think they're going to deliver for all preorders. Something is clearly wrong... The question now is, how wrong?

The vf4 could theoretically have shoulder pauldrons that articulate (though the engineering would be complex) l. That would make the arms seem a lot more feasible.

NOooooooooo. If someone wants to make a tread they NEED to design the Legioss with the Tread in mind. There is no forethought on display in the ET Legioss so I would dread there effort to tack one on later. I just pulled down a box of CM's ride armor toys... I had forgotten how many there were! Unfortunately... I need to keep mine for review purposes.

I bought mine on 10/7 apparently right after midnight so that's gotta be pretty quick after the order went up right? I've got a rank of 2. I might have picked SAL or airmail because shipping wasn't outrageous, 2400 yen.

I think they'll use some anniversary as an excuse for a V3 incorporating lessons learned on newer toys regarding some joints and the matte finish. An HMR would be a fun toy to fill in the gap.

I think you would have to remove the lower section (waist down) of a CM's ride armor figure into the Garland. There's just not enough room around the console... especially when you think about the boots those things wear. -

No need, your assurance that it could be done gave me the resolve to just keep jamming it until it worked. I think the issue is that the legs on my Shogo prefer to be in a position that spreads them wide so they kept interfering with the baffles behind the swing bars. It's in now and I can take some pics. Thanks! -

Speaking of Yamato's Proto Garland, has anyone ever tried to put Shogo in the cockpit in Slave mode? I can't make it and I haven't seen any photos of it actually being done. If it can be done, is there some trick to it? Please, if you own a Proto Garland and have never tried this before, DO NOT on my behalf. This toy cracks every time you touch it... This is specific to the Proto Garland, I've been able to do it with the Part 1 toys without issue. -
Hopefully it's nothing but it's possible Bandai just dumped NY. After all, these are exclusives and NY was carrying like they were regular releases... maybe Bandai has some new initiative to keep exclusives more exclusive... which may be particularly true with the Macross line since BW is sooooo strict about keeping everything internal to Japan to avoid HG.
