    I feel like with Arcadia playing a very limited role, Bandai can't keep up with the existing Macross licenses. I kind of hope that the new movie doesn't introduce much so they can keep slogging through everything else. Maybe they can make the Draken the hero mecha and give us a renewal version of that toy.

    The 31A was a TWE, placing orders was easy! Getting your orders is where things got hard. If you were ready on PO night for the 1J you could get multiples. The 1A ,on the other hand, is our most recent tape to measure by and that was a complete sh*t show. Just saying that some people might want to start tempering some expectations from "I'm getting two!" to "I'm hoping not to have to pay crazy mark-ups over the next couple weeks". I hope I'm wrong but lower expectations are the way to go.

    Oh man, so much excitement and optimism in this thread before wailing and gnashing of teeth. People talking about "snagging two" as if one is guaranteed. I had one in my cart on two separate occasions the last time we went through this and secured exactly ZERO so I'm going to play the game but man are my expectations low.

    Well I got brave enough that I actually transformed it. Proof: I also updated my original video review and fixed the couple issues that were pointed out here and included this toy so it's now better and more comrpehensive The lack of instructions for the strike part coupled with the fact it's clear you actually have to remove parts from the toy to install them made me decide to take a break from these toys until I can find some more clear instructions that prove to me I'm doing things right.

    I really like it, particularly in fighter and gerwalk. Any thoughts on some trim color on the head?

    Agreed, it was a great toy when it came out but things have only better so it would be nice to see some tweaks to the joints to improve durability.

    I would put the odds somewhere around 0.00001% but we can always hope. I think it's more likely we'd see a DX YF-21 from Bandai and then a DX VF-11.

    Hey Bobby, did your strike parts include instructions? I just had the tray of parts in mine, no inserts.

    I officially have two sets of strike parts. I think I ordered the crowd funding strike parts thinking the XI Garland would just be too much... then went and ordered the XI Garland which comes with Strike Parts when my will was broken.. So, I just got a second box that looks to be the exact same strike parts that come with the XI Garland. Would have been cool if my mistake had at least netted me some other trim color on the standalone strike parts.

    The whole base should be covered in peg holes and the arm should peg in wherever you want (maybe using 4 pegs). Also, a Tamashii stand costs like $5 so I don't see a need on its own but it's cool as an add on to a larger system.

    Kurasama shop just sent me notice my missiles shipped, still waiting on NY for the other order.

    Hell, my videos were being stolen on Youtube so it's certainly possible people are re-uploading them elsewhere and poaching the views. I'm hoping it's more a case of someone who gets way more traffic than me occasionally pointing people my way.

    Crazy thing about having a Youtube channel is that sometimes a video just gets crazy amounts of views and there's no obvious reason as to why. For example, my Evolution Toy Dark Legioss review is above 35K reviews despite being only like two weeks old. In contrast, my Bandai DX VF-1 review (my last really popular video) hasn't broken 19K of views after five months! Is the Dark Legioss really such a fan favorite or did some popular website link to that video? I'll probably never know.

    The articulation is definitely where the biggest improvements could be made. Think of the articulation on the Bandai DX VF-1 being done a VF-11 toy... that'd be amazing.

    I don't think Rey is any better, probably one production run for both toys so they should be the same.

    The Thunder Hummer was available as a resin kit, it still pops up occasionally in recast form in eBay.
