  1. Yea, Frogze, sooo much potential energy built up into those valks getting knocked off! haha.... you're one brave dude. Great display Melbin. I think all of us that like to display our toys always comes to a point where we run out of space to display things nicely. Good job using the photo frame holders. I used to display some of my valks in that flying up position, but i opened up the feet of the valks and just used those to balance the valk. I think your method is a pretty good alternative to flexis and such.
  2. almost done! it looks fantastic now that it's almost put back together. All the details you put into it really stand out. Do we have an SDF-1 customs gallery yet for all these awesome customs people are doing? =]
  3. yea, this is simply just jaw dropping with the level of paint detail you put into it. Probably one of the most realistic paint jobs i've seen on the forums. congrats!
  4. that was pretty entertaining! Good job
  5. Nice dude! I made a couple of revy valk girl customs too that i posted in this thread: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=17279&pid=863204&st=70entry863204
  6. If you're worried about space in your detolfs, you can always use the mod i did and combine your 2 cases to make a larger case http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=30278&hl=detolf&st=0 Still think it's the best display case bang for your buck!
  7. still, he passed out... haha.... musta been a helluvah stunner
  8. great work with the LED's in the city! I wonder if it would ever be possible to light up other sections of the Macross and make it work... but the city is pretty awesome itself. keep it up! Looking forward to seeing the completed pics!
  9. i like how the god of lightning gets taken down by a simple tazer gun.... wimp:lol:

Yea, i don't get it. This is your 3rd post in nearly 4 years and all 3 of them have just been pictures of these keychains with no explanation to why you are posting them. WTF mate?
  11. awhile ago, i tried to use the bandai action stands for yamato 1/48's... here's my original post: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=24975&st=0&p=557662&hl=bandai%20stand&fromsearch=1entry557662 I only ended up using it for awhile with one of my valks but still think Flexis or flightpose stands are the best display stand out there for the value. I do however use the bandai stands for my Lego TIE fighters though. Pretty awesome looking there.. =]
  12. nice paint job!!! can't wait to see it all put together!
  13. Just got MP Rodimus yesterday and it's a damn sweet toy. I spent a few hours last nite learning how to transform it and all the playability features it has. Pretty amazing engineering to get the toy to transform the way it does and look great in all modes. Careful with the feet though when you transform it into car mode. The joints can get pretty tight and you have to position them correctly to get it fit right. I accidentally pushed the ratchet joint TOO far past nub that was supposed to prevent it from going into the foot. I couldn't pull it out and almost put too much pressure and was scared of snapping it off. I had to unscrew it just in case to move it back. This was probably just my own ignorance since i couldn't get the legs to sit flush in car mode, but after i figured it out, i loved it! Too bad that couldn't make a better looking interior for the car. Other big gripe is the hands SUCK and can't really hold the guns. The wrist joints are loose and they're pretty crappy overall. But overall, GREAT toy
  14. those look fantastic Daisuke!! great job with these and i'll definitely be getting the 2 seaters. Now i just gotta find a place to put them.
  15. poker afterwards!!! haha... is that going to happen?
  16. i listened to parts 1 and 2 while i was putting on the extra parts to my 1/3000 SDF-1. Definitely interesting hearing your criticism of the toys released and your comments on the board reactions to them. Agree with most of it, but yea, was a bit off at some points. =P
  17. Thanks! i can't believe i missed that in the review. Guess i didn't remember and scroll down all the way
  18. so my SDF-1 didn't come with any instructions so i can't put on all the extra parts and pieces. While i'm waiting to hear back if i can get a replacement copy, would it be possible for someone to scan the instruction pages for putting on the extra parts for the SDF-1? I'd appreciate it mucho!
  19. Actually, my voice activation on my Motorala Droid is surprisingly accurate. Used it plenty of times while driving and looking for a specific location. I just say "Map of in and out" and it actually picked it out and opened up in google maps within seconds. Works with addresses and other locations too =]
  20. Thanks Los! I have several cracked plates from my stands so i'll be sending you an email with pictures soon for replacement
