  1. you know, i think i was just predicting the future when i posted this a few years ago.... I'm glad that April fools joke became a reality! http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=32812&hl=%2Byamato+%2Bvf-4
  2. wow, nobody commented on this guy's collection? it's pretty frickin impressive!!!! you got a lot packed in there for your displays, but it looks like you have almost everything Kicker has. Jealous in that fact, but i actually do like the spaced out display Kicker has versus to overstuffed shelves. and although i like the frontier figures, i like them in their own separate shelves than mixed in with mecha, but to each their own!! great collection pics as always! i'd love to be able to see some of these collections in person
  3. Nice job Kurt, what happened to the missiles? Even the hip and arm missiles are gone. With the effort to paint this up so nicely, it definitely needs some GBP or DYRL hands instead of the stock chicken hands to complete the look
  4. came in today!!! huzzah!!!! now to find a place to display it.....
  5. interesting, but will you have it in battroid? I was thinking to to display it in fighter mode, but again, space becomes an issue, along with there's no other shelf it fits with. Maybe 1/60 vf-1's? show me a pic when you are done displaying!
  6. finally an update from tracking stating that my VF-4 cleared customs today in LA!! Dec 31 17:07 Arrival at inward office of exchange AMC LOS ANGELES UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Dec 31 17:08 In Customs AMC LOS ANGELES UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Jan 14 03:29 Departure from inward office of exchange AMC LOS ANGELES UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Man, can't WAIT to get this!!! only trouble i have now is figuring out where to display this as it doesn't really go with any of my other macross shelves.
  7. ugh, mine is still stuck in Los Angeles Customs and the final destination is, Los Angeles. Been there since Dec 31st. Anyone else in this same batch?? Is there a way to contact customs at all?
  8. Just edited the photos to look MUCH better... hopefully that does it a little more justice than my original photos.
  9. oh, clarification: the gunpod is Maiden Japan's custom 1/48 gunpod
  10. After 4 years of sitting unbuilt and held up by yellow tape, i finally commissioned >EXO< to build and paint up my 1/48 Thunder Hammer. I wanted to recreate the "Humdinger" SD Stealth version of the TH from MW Con 2008 Tshirt, so this is an homage to that. Again, excellent paint job and customization work by EXO. Not only did he paint it, but added some cool new mods to make it a lot more sturdier and stronger than the original version. My favorite is a magnet for one of the leg hatches to help it stay put! Anyways, here are the pics!! Original "Humdinger" artwork T-shirt: Original Photo Hahaha... so EXO told me how to adjust the photos using PhotoShop or Paint.net. So here's the NEW adjusted photos that look much better: Open Hatches Close Up Backside Enjoy!!!
  11. You have to unscrew the arm and replace it. You can see in the pic of the back of the battroid, I was halfway unscrewing the arm when I decided to take a pic of the backside
  12. I also just want to mention that the paint job on this valk is PHENOMENAL!!! EXO used some high quality carpaint that really shows how well this is made. It's super solid, scratch resistant and i'm uber impressed with the subtle weathering job. Besides the weathering, this thing looks like i could have came right out of the factory... Just some quality work that's much appreciated.
  13. Just got a new lightbox and wanted to takes some decent photos of some new customs i got. I commissioned this from our very own >EXO< who put together Capt. America's VF-1D conversion kit, painted it, and added some VERY cool custom mods to create one of the most "Iconic" scenes from the original Macross TV series. I present.... the "Iconic" 1/48 VF-1D Falling VF-1D with broken arm, and custom Minmay & Hikaru figs Battroid with broken arm Battroid with regular arm and custom Hikaru & Minmay figs This also won 1st prize in this year's MacrossWorld Convention 2012 Customs contest! Congrats EXO!! and congrats to me who gets to keep this awesome masterpiece in my collection. =]

  19. ATTENTION MACROSSWORLD CONVENTION ATTENDEES!!! We have well over 125 registered attendees for this year's convention and are excited to see each and every one of you.
