    all i can say is good luck to you guys trying to get the uber-box. however, i wish extreme bad karma for those douchebag scalpers that cleaned out the online uber-box stocks just to gouge the fans. hope they get stuck with their uber-boxes unsold. hope and wish no one (macross-fan or otherwise) even think of considering buying the uber-box thru the various auction sites. just get the regular edition if you can't get the uber-box at the msrp or below it. don't let yourself get gouged by the scalpers!

    was sorta tracking the neowing page as I had a bad feeling (courtesy of the first amiami soldout) that when that sold out, cdjapan will most likely almost immediately post the uber-box in the english-page and mark it as "sold out". and that's pretty much what happened. seems like the same damn shenanigan as the VF-171EX shenanigan. &!*$&@#$(*! and the available regular version doesn't even have the usual 5%-10% pre-order cdj discount. :sigh: and I actually even emailed cdj prior to the neowing sold-out to email-alert me when BLJS-93006 becomes available on the CDJ-page. still waiting for that alert. oy vey...

    nice... but where's the GU-11? the micro-missile pods? head-lasers? can it even do GERWALK? AC:AH just might become slightly tolerable if these VF1-DLCs have those features... no to mention, FAST-packs...

    FoC Shocky is awesome. Will get two upon retail sighting! Bruticus is really disappointing me from the pics, but I will still get the Combaticons since they look kewl individually. Not quite feeling Prime and Jazz, but might still get 'em.

    lol! Well, just to be fair, there are people who never outgrew having Luke as their role-model. I mean, you know, Han's always been the better role-model coz Han shot first!

    Luke Skywalker ain't an anime character. That said, I think most kids I know grow out of fixating on any anime or cartoon character by the time they're over 8yo or something. Furthermore, I think most of us here in this forum are not kids anymore. We can buy our 1/60 Yammies with our own money!

    Well, I don't live in Japan and don't quite understand the fans over there, but I don't really think it's quite healthy (mentally and otherwise) to have or to fixate on an anime character to serve as a role-model for anyone. Regardless if it's Basara or Shinji or whoever. However, for entertainment value, I am more entertained with Shinji and Eva anime than I ever have had with Basara and M7 anime. Even more entertained with the current Eva reboot, as a matter of fact.

    I would agree. But then we have to consider that both Evangelion and Nadesico followed mere months later after M7. Those two were even more flamboyant and superbly more awesome anime than M7 and didn't grate nor made us groan. I think diverting with "eyes on a giant robot" is more impeding in the discussion than whining about "real" or "super" categories, don't you think?
