  1. geezus! Yen-US$ exchange-rate going stupidly worse today...
  2. wtf, HASBRO?! why are you flooding/carpet-bombing all the b&m's with skullgrin???!!! sh*t! as you can tell, folks, ain't nothing purchase-worthy this week in my area. all the pegs on the Target's, Wally's, and TRU's in my area from my recent walkabout are filled up to overflowing with Hasbro's favorite shelfwarmer Skullgrin. wtf, Hasbro! F-U!
  3. augh! can't believe i'm actually agonizing on this sale. already bought the Ghost and the damn overpriced foldildo. now i'm getting the urge to get the M&Ms, 0A, Max/Kaki TV, and Max/Kaki DYRL, too. ARRRGGGHHH!!! must. stay. strong... you know, i'm still a bit weirded out that the yf-21 is still pricey. it doesn't even come with the stand anymore. :sigh: if hlj put the YF-21 under 7k-y, i will snag it right away.
  4. Probably, but the shipping cost is still a bitch to consider when purchasing such a collection. fwiw, I haven't seen the Ivanov restocked at HLJ.
  5. Well, had Roy's Zero-S on the yammie-block for awhile now and it's holding up rather well even tho Zero's rather a bit heavy actually (compared to my other valks). Still, I'm a little leery of the peg-socket sliding to the side on its own coz of Zero's weight, so I'll prolly replace him onto my Yammie-Arm when it finally gets here and then put my YF-19 on the yammie-block instead since it's lighter. As such, I don't have the Ghost to do the add-on, (well, not yet), but I think it'll be interesting to know if the Yammie-Block can actually hold up the Zero+Ghost combo weight. Nevertheless, here's my Roy-Zero chasing Nora pic. Ever the ladies' man, I say...
  6. welp! just an update on the tf retail-hunt... just verified that two Target near me now have stocks of the RTS-line such as Jazz, Perceptor, and Tracks. As well as the usual Prime, Lugnut, and Bumblebee. as for Wally's, I actually saw a few Blurr on their pegs last weekend. so check your nearest b&m for them if you haven't gotten them, yet. However, still no sightings of Wheeljack, Wreck-Gar, and Grappel. Not sure if Warpath's supposed to be out already.
  7. tfw2005 posted reviews for Generations dlx-class Warpath and Wheeljack by peaugh : Warpath: Wheeljack: that said, i have not seen any new TFs round my neck of the woods.
  8. heads up! The Stampede seems to be on-sale this week. Target has it locally (not online) at $39.99 while Amazon has it at $35.58 with free shipping. not sure how much it is from TRU and wally's, tho. btw, can the Raider have the drum-mag (or any compatible mag for it) installed on the right-side instead of the default left-side? without any modding, of course.
  9. Uhmm, even wikipedia have several documented entries regarding Bruce Lee's actual fights (non-film) during his lifetime, so...
  10. Lol! That's really funny, A-One. Srsly, tho. Everyone would have love to watch Bruce Lee fight in the octagon of the MMA. However, had he lived, I just don't think Bruce Lee will be that desperate enough to join that kind of violent circus. Maybe Chuck Norris instead?
  11. behold, generations WHEELJACK! http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/in-package-images-of-generations-wheeljack-171542/ WANT!
  12. OMG! OMG! OMG! pics of the upcoming generations WARPATH!!! http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/generations-warpath-clear-images-171530/ definitely MUST-HAVE!
  13. yup, they are nice. would be alot nicer with those dang overpriced armor-FPs, tho...
  14. I was checking them Bandai-stands before to use for my MGs, but I thought they were flimsy as heck for the valks. As light as my vf1-v2s are, I'm really not sure I want to further risk them with those stands. Tho maybe they'll be good for Bandai's valks...
  15. here's the stuff from google-translate: in other words, your mama...
  16. From google-translate, it looks like just a signature-gathering/petition thingy by a fan "committee" .
  17. fwiw, Yamato-Toys actually has some fighter-mode shots of both the YF-19 and the YF-21 with their FPs using the yammie-block: http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1650
  18. The Yammie-block requires a male-type adaptor for connection, but the SV-51's a female-type. Iirc, the YF-21's have the same stand. Afaik, only the VF1-v2, VF0, and YF-19 have male-type adaptors.
  19. Welp! Sorry, dude. the yammie-block don't seem to have any adaptor for my Nora. So unless somebody knows better about it, I'll just post a Nora/Hikaru comparo-pic for you (with bonus Roy vf-1 gerwalk-pics) : edit: i'll try to get my Roy-Zero out maybe tomorrow or the weekend. I believe the adaptor there will work on the yammie-block. or not.
  20. I'll try to take and post a pic of the Nora-fighter (full-load) on the yammie-block tonite. I think I can pose her in horizontal fighter-mode, but that's about it. She's just way too long and too tall for the yammie-block in gerwalk and battroid modes. My YF-19's in storage and will only get taken out when I finally get the FP for it. My old "metal-legged" 1/60 and 1/72 valks are likewise in storage and i'm really not that motivated to break them out again. I'm not even sure the adaptors are even usable on 'em.
  21. I got the yammie "mighty block" thingy. Other than fighter-mode, I haven't tried any of the other modes yet on it. They are a bit cheeky and need some minor balancing schemes. I reckon it'll need some minor modifications and/or tightening up for the more exotic poses. I haven't done any mods on it, yet. Still stock stuff since I'm a bit lazy. Anyways, it's ok enough for me and I'm still waiting for a good sale and exchange-rate on the Yammie Launch-Arms. Oh, here be me pics... edit: forgot to mention that I don't think it can handle any valk other than the VF-1 1/60 v2. I'm tempted to try my Nora on it, but the yammie-block is just way too small and way too short/low for it. edit2: added battroid-mode pics using yammie-block...
  22. welp! stopped by target tonite after some burrito-run and whaddayaknow? they actually got new'er TF-stuff on their pegs than last monday. RTS-figs: (2) Tracks, (2) Perceptor, (6) Prime, and a bunch of Bumblebee-RTS. So, much as I really loathe the $11.99 pricing on a $7 fig, I bought the Tracks and Perceptor coz I just might not see them again. a big F-U to Hasbro's distro-tactics! I didn't like the look and stuff of the new Prime-RTS. So, anyway. Check your local Target again. Maybe they got better/newer stocks now. late edit: added some bot-pics of 'em. yeah. Perceptor's actually got some shiny...
