    So after I wrote on Toynami's facebook page announcing my displeasure at their decision, I recieved a notification from them this morning. The had decided to hold off production of these plushies until Robotech's Anniversary in 2015, so all current preorders were shut down. I wont hold my breath, but at least they gave me some answer.

    They were selling for $23. each for those big ones. I had all three on preorder before they were cancelled.

    Just recieved word from bigbadtoystore that Toynami has discontinued this item, and my preorders were cancelled. Despite the *Censored* name, I was actually hoping to finally Cuddle with a VF-1. No explanation as to why toynami is not making them, at least as far as I've heard. Was anyone else on the forums planning on getting one before?

    Glad to see that this YF-29 is being well recieved. I'm still waiting on mine from my friend in tokyo. Hopefully he'll send it out sometime this month.

    Not bad on the panel line job! Personally Markers are a little bit too dark for me in some cases, so I've taken up to using Gundam Pencils instead. Makes the lines pop, but not so noticeable as a marker.

    Just recieved word from my liasion in japan. He told me that the YF-29 will be in his hands by christmas eve. Info was sent to him by bandai via e-mail. So i guess you guys who pre-ordered should be getting info soon as well.

    3: VF-22 Sturmvogel While I LOVE reverse wing fighters, the Sturmvogel just has that design that makes me like it more. The reason why its in the number 3 spot, is because IMO, it only looks good in fighter mode. Nothing else. I applaud the zentradei design cues in battroid, but I mainly love fighter modes. 2: VF-1 Valkyrie Lets be honest. This bird started it all. This is genesis. Without the VF-1 I probably wouldn't have gotten interested in Macross at all, (or made other important life decisions!) Even 30 years later the design is still a sight to behold, despite it's successors getting more flashy, thinner, and bigger. A time cherished design. And for Number one! VB-6 KONIG MONSTER Technically not a valkyrie, BUT it does have three transformation modes like its VF-1 cousins, so that...counts? C'mon what can be better than what can be described as a transformable shuttle equipped with 4 Howitzer cannons and missile pods for arms? This beast has always been a personal favorite of mine.

    Like kaneda said, a majority of the parts can be put on when its in fighter mode. about the only parts you might have trouble with is the crotch armor, since the stock one must be taken off in order for the Armored/super version to go on. (not a necessity, but still a requirement)

    As a personal owner of that V1, i will say, it isn't ENTIRELY bad. As a display piece that is. I agree that if you can find a renewal, get it, but my experience with my V1 VF25 G isnt a nightmare that it's made out to be. V1's are surprisingly solid, since they were made to be rough n tumble toys. If you dont mind that the design is a bit off, or disproportioned, I say stick with it. but by all means, dont stop looking for a renewal.

    I was lucky to have acquired a PS4 pre-order through a government facility. *Cough* NEX *Cough*. the only drawback is there's no midnight release, because gate guards have better things to do. Part of me cant wait for friday because of the new system. The other part of me is, wondering what im going to spend more time on. At launch, the PS4 will be nothing more than a shooter machine for me since all i'll have for it at launch is BF4 and Shadowfall

    Had a incident last night on a photoshoot. I've had alto renewal out on display since july when I recieved him and had never taken him out of fighter mode. Decided to transform him to battroid for a photoshoot, and the nosecone wouldnt fold into the landing bay. tried it with my other renewals, and they folded fine. Found out the joint was so stiff that it wouldnt budge. spent the next 10 minutes applying slight pressure to get it to fold back. Finally broke the "seal" afterwards and now it folds back fine. It was nervewracking. I dont see why not, though that all depends if bandai feels there's a demand for it. I think all their efforts are going toward the YF-30 at the moment.

    What was the period gap between the YF-29 Alto and the 30th Anniversary? Maybe a wait period similar along those lines?
