Hey guys! Threw in a little bit of Yui Takamura because of my Namesake.

Looks like my pictures made the rounds on twitter. One of my friends shared a post with me from the macrossworld facebook showing the picture I took of my yf30 and vf1s in front of the shooter statue on the flight deck as well as the island of the uss midway. Ill try to post more from the shoot tonight. That is...unless you all saw them elsewhere.

Took my YF-30 out to the USS Midway here in san diego over the weekend for an impromptu photoshoot. Felt....RIGHT having it down on the no skid surfaces of the ship and flight deck among all the other classic planes. I'll have to post pics soon. Lots of Tourists, (mainly chinese and japanese) would stop and watch as I did my thing on the flight deck. Some Japanese tourists even gawked, suprised and wondering how a YF-30 even got here so soon. It was a nice experience, Then came the inevitable. As I was lining up a shot, A japanese family and their kids were getting their shot taken with the shooter statue on the flight deck and their toddler, bless his heart, wasn't watching where he was going and stepped on Chronos Kun. one rear stabilizer came off it's beg, and it almost looked like it was leaning. I was shocked at first, as the mother immediately scooped him up and apologized profusely for what happened, (she was one of the few watching me at the time) but I insisted that no harm was done and that it was alright. I scooped up Chronos Kun almost with a dread, knowing I had led her demise on her first outing, and did a visual once over. And to my surprise, she had shrugged it off like it was nothing. The stabilizer fin, as everyone knows isnt really fastened so that coming off wasn't much of a big deal, the lean wasnt there at all either. Just a litle jostle of the landing gear, (it snapped back in place) and she was good as (relatively) new. I know bandai hasn't had much of a track record in terms of build quality, which almost makes me want to chalk this one up to blind luck, but the fact that Chronos Kun SURVIVED a toddler trouncing, on a No Skid Surface on less...well that says something...thats for sure. only lasting damage? So paint scrape off the top of the Gunpod. Now it has a little bit of a worn look now.

perhaps this is just me being unobservant, but for those who have it on hand, can you post pictures of said "brace" and where it is? Im quite curious about it and why is has some in a tizzle.

As a fellow san diegan, I am reeeealy jealous of you. Lol where you at? Lemme handle it a lattle. J/k Glad to ser the reaction to the yf30 is a lot more positive now that people have it in hand.

Paitence is an area where I fall flat. Now is an Instance where I wish I went with ems instead.

If you go to the tracking page, you can have them deliver it to your nearest FEDEX store and you can pick it up there instead. In other news Mine still has the big red Exclamation point plastered all over it. Now unless Saburo said otherwise, it looks like he and I got the short end of the stick.

Checked my shipping status this morning and It's being held in memphis because of a clearance delay. Reportedly the description provided is inssuficient to classify commodity. In other words, memphis has delayed my Chronos. I smell an HG intervention.

Mine is Currently in anchorage Alaska........ darn you fedex and your roundabout ways. Though this might have to do with those two hurricanes in the pacific most likely.

Man. Seeing those pics just make me more anxious to get mine in my hands sooner.

Just got notification from NY that items have started to ship out. I'll probably have mine by Sunday or monday at best.

For those wondering about AmiAmi, they wont send a payment request unitl they actually get the item in stock and ready to be sent out. So dont worry about it. they arent like NY who send out a request a few days before. Experience? I've been ordering from them for the past 3 years. on another note, does anyone know the actual release date of the YF-30?

You sir are a KING~! Once this gets some steam behind it, its going to take the Macross Collector world by storm. Cant wait till we're able to get our hands on some!

How could I not notice your new arrival? My Phone was blowing up with all the notifications. Anyway, its a Nice find! If you cant get the rest of Vermillion, just having Hikaru's VF-1J makes a nice companion to it.

I dont know if you're a fan of posing in fighter mode, but if you have some acrylic risers of different heights, you could do some nice banking poses. But if you have flightstands, this suggestion is probably moot. But I'll post the pics anyway. Sorry for the quality, these are from my instagram. I just found one day that having the Valk Pivot on the Gunpod gave it just enough lean for a bank. I had these risers on hand since I couldnt get flightpose stands, so I thought I'd experiment one day.

Yes. the VF-25S really takes the cake as the most sought after Hero VF-25. I broke the bank getting mine, I was lucky to have found a nice Armored Pack for sale here on the boards. Dont worry, no3ljm. You'll find one. At the very least you arent pining for a VF-4. You cant get one of those unless you take out a second mortgage.

Because Saburo Claims Ozma Needs More Love.... While Having Ozma's VF-25S in anything other than the Armored Pack feels a bit odd, I will admit that despite the heft and overall coolness factor it brings, the Armored pack is a pain in the ass to Assemble. It requires you (or at least me) to be a little bit rough with it for anything to get on, but you're so petrified by the through of breaking something you tend to fiddle with it lightly instead.

Dammit. Saburo Posted what I was gonna post! LOL Lucky for me, I'm not just limited to the Armored Ozzy Out of the Three that I have, My Favorite would Probably have to be the 30th Anniversary. Despite it just being a repaint of the Regular YF-29, its the Skull One Color Scheme that Just gives it that special Aura about it. Saburo and I are Instagram Buddies, So i KNOW he's seen these before.

A VF-1S Jolly Roger Scheme and everything. And i'd go to Harmony Gold Headquarters and dare them to try and claim copyrights.
