I still don't have one but I'm not gonna pay NY, one of many scalper sites, 25,000 yen for a VF-31J. If I can't get one for a reasonable price than screw it.

It sucks that Macross doesn't have third party support like the Transformers. I would love to see custom afterburner effect pieces for each Valkyrie.

Argh! Bandai seriously needs to work on their turbines. At least paint them silver or metallic or something.

So I started to watch the first episode of delta and I immediately got annoyed by the girl. Ok, no problem. But than when the VAR broke out in the zentradi camp and all the girls came out to sing and dance in the stupid sailormon fashion...I just facepalmed! I mean, is this what Macross has become? Whats with the skimpy singing girls and the same loner main character nonsense? Same crap was in Macross Frontier. Gone are the days of macross plus I guess. Macross Zero did a good job with the seriousness, matureness and drama and story, too. It all went to hell after that. I don't think I can continue watching anymore. Maybe if someone took all the episodes and edited them to just show the valks and the action than maybe. Perhaps I'm just too old. Anyways, i'm waiting for the preorder cause I love the design of the 31. As for the show...meh.

The VF-2SS Silvie Gena is for 12,800 ($122) at AmiAmi. I think even at that price it's not worth it. It needs to be around the $70 mark to justify the crappy design and build. My recent is the YF-19 reissue and the YF-29 durandle. Don't really care about the SMS and SWS printing problem considering it will stay in fighter mode forever. -
Don't really like this design. It's just to bulky for me. I'll see when the time comes.

For me it's not about what's missing, it's about what I want. YF-21 VF-X That's about it. I have everything else I want.

No offense taken. But yeah, since I display my valks only in fighter mode, I say better built strictly on how tight, heavy and solid the fighter mode feels and fits together. The VF-19 feels the best compared to the YF-19. The worst valk I have in fighter mode is the VF-22S strumvogal. It's a mess. The wings drop down and the darn legs don't fit snugly underneath the fuselage.

My 19 is great and tight in fighter mode but I haven't transformed it yet. I don't think I ever will. In fact, I haven't transformed any of my valks except for the 30th anniversary 1/60 edition. I love macross for the fighter and not really the robot mode. Also, I still feel that the VF-19 is a better build.

Holy crap that Yeti with multiple attachments is perfect!!! I Holy crap those multiple attachments are perfect! Fits the detolf compartment nicely.

The yeti is $45 each? Ha! Okay, fine. I'll go get my wallet. Lets see...I need about 12 stands. Oh crap, $500!!! Hmm...I think I'll go back to the fishing line, lots of it. Like as if spiderman came and he webbed the whole detolf. That should hold anything. I'll post pics if nothing goes wrong.

I took my 11-b out of the box yesterday and tried to display it. I used fishing line to hold it up in the detolf but it just didn't look right. I only have one original yamato/Arcadia stand but the 19 is sitting on it. Can anyone recommend a solution other than fishing line and other display stands? Basically, a makeshift method of displaying?

Just got my YF-19 reissue and I have to say it feels a bit cheap compared to the Bandai's VF-19. The VF feels more sturdy and solid compared to the Arcadias. Also, whats with the horrible gaps around the knee area? The VF doesn't have em. A stand would've been nice, too. -
I love jets engines so I display all my valks without the intake covers. They are aircraft first and space craft second. I wish Bandai would make nice turbines like Arcadia though.

I would keep it considering the 25th anniversary is obviously in the past and this scheme wont come again.

I didn't see any guide for the decal application in the manual. Did I miss it or it wasn't included?
