How odd. I double checked that I had the right cable and TV. I did. Tried it again and it worked. I tried it several times last night and nothing. Now it works.

Well since PSP seemed to be the new domain of Macross games. I decided to get one. Found a good used 3000 edition that came with extra cables and games. The PSP works and all. I figured out how to transfer media files from my computer on it it. I just have two technical issues. TV Connection Assuming the guy didn't give me a defective cable. I connect the cable. Change the channel to right one. When I got to which from the PSP monitor to the TV I get at the most a split second of audio/video before my TV says Mode not supported. Wireless Connection I search for wireless connections with the PSP. It finds mine put it on the top of the list at 100% but won't let me use it cause 'Security is not supported' I guess I have to manually input my data. Crap I don't know my wireless Key! Figure that out. Input the data to the PSP. Tested connection and get "adjust your security settings" or something like that. I start googling. Guess I need to log in to my Router. I type the Router number I get the User & Password access point. I don't know it. I tried the default but that is not working. Why don't I know these passwords and wireless key you ask? I bought this lap top went to high speed a few years ago from Best Buy. Got my their Geek Squad guys to set things up at reduced cost special promotion thingy. They came over created my wireless network and gave my an invoice of everything they did. I don't think they even gave me all my pass words. Only thing I remember them telling that it was important was not to hit the reset button if I didn't want to lose all the work that they did. Why wasn't I smart enough to make sure I got all that information then? I'm not a totally nerd. Like most boobs I just know plug and play. Only when some thing doesn't work do I learn about things. Now I'm thinking if I can't access my router. Should I reset it and create a new network on my own so I can use the PSP. What if I screw up this process and can't get wireless at all. I know I can still use the computer through a cable connection but wireless is so important to me. I work early in the morning so I get to miss most prime time TV. I watch the previous nite's shows online in my bed room when I turning in. Computers cable connection is in the living room. If I lose my wireless I lose that wind down with some prime time tv time and I get very grumpy.

That's a down right deadly man cave. You could be toasting some toast in that toast oven and next thing you know someone punching that punching bag hits you in the back of the head. Worst a drunk gets on that bike and rides into you!

Variable Fighter Master File VF-1 Valkyrie Vol. 1
Roy Focker replied to sketchley's topic in Movies and TV Series
That Block Information help some. I was wondering why they listed Skull One as a Block 1 when the VF-1S wasn't produced till later. Now of course I wonder where is it included in the VF-1 totals. Is it the 31st VF-1S or still one of the 5093 VF1A? Kids book is about equal to my read comprehension in Japanese (and English ). -
Variable Fighter Master File VF-1 Valkyrie Vol. 1

How some translation about the VF-1 Squadron 2009 to 2014 Section. I think it is cool that they list the number of squadrons part ship or base but the numbers seem to low compared to the numbers of VF produced per block. For example I think they list 22 Squadrons for 2009. I think over 1300 VF-1 were made by that point. What happen to those more simple alphabet above the Kanji that you use to see? It was so more easier to translate them when give those hints. I have a kanji dictionary but these got those words in tiny font. I need this book in that SPECIAL BIG FONT for blind old folks. -

So the VF-1N is the VF-1B or VF-1+ from VF-X Game series. -
Nice set up you got there. A booze, toys and a chick doing your work for you. Plus you've got a futon. No reason ever to leave that room.

Got a lead on a slightly used PSP with a Price I like. Might have one next week.

I would of had lil Hikaru & Minmay getting it on.

Any Toy that cost $100 on average automatically goes under display to me. Even if the QC is top notch a high ticket item is just going to have those extra tiny pieces that are prone to breaking. Even If nothing breaks your fingers are going to eventually rub off paint or stickers through play.

Ordering it after my vacation.

That is basically my view as well. I found a few minor issues but they are minor. I know some people can have a hissy fit on these things. I think these might be the same people who have a hissy fit if the toy isn't 100% anime accurate. Sure I believe there has been a some major defects in some versions but I haven't one of these myself.

15 years ago the first OVA of Macross Plus was released.
Roy Focker replied to UN Spacy's topic in Movies and TV Series
This was couple years before I had access to the internet and dvds. My anime news came from magazines or previews on VHS. I rented an anime by Manga (can't remember which one) on it they had a preview for Macross Plus. I couldn't make heads or tells of it. Character designs didn't look right but it was called Macross. Made a mental note and kept an eye out for it at rental stores. -

If I wasn't on vacation a couple of weeks before that I'd take a day off and swing by. -
On route I'm told.

I wonder if was one the movie done the writers strike. I also think Marlon did a good job but some of his dialog like all the dialog seemed awkward. Like they had a script that need just one more draft. Marlon also did good because he seem to be actually acting. If you paid attention to the press coverage of the movie during filming a lot of the actors almost seemed to be dissing the film. Few seemed to be excited in the interviews about playing Gijoe for real. For most it was just another paycheck and it showed as they all phoned it in. For a few others you could see they gave some effort. No one expect it to be a good film. I expected some cheesy action fun. Duke was just horrible. Makes sense you look at his former career. The actor was a teenage male stripper that got discovered and became a legitimate "model/actor". If he didn't get discovered his only chance for movie career would be in porn and his acting ability to great for it.

I still gotta get a PSP.

Variable Fighter Master File VF-1 Valkyrie Vol. 1
Roy Focker replied to sketchley's topic in Movies and TV Series
I search on the main page by ISBN. Only the stores in CA & NY have them. You can place on order online and they will mail you a copy from one of those stores. I think it is just $8 extra for a book that is already in country. That is what I tried to do but that when there was only 2 copies remaining I lost out that time. If you prefer to get one from your local store give them either of this ISBN-10: 4797351829. Their inventory systems should be linked. -
How far would you go for some Macross lovin'?
Roy Focker replied to Tochiro's topic in Movies and TV Series
I'm gonna do it like they do in North Korea, I'll just kidnap all the production staff and voice over actors. Then force them to make more Macross. -

For those who have a copy of how many pages are exclusively dedicated to the Macross TV comic? I'm thinking of getting a copy but I don't want to find out that just 10 pages out of a 100 is for Macross TV comic.
