Here I am trying to raise money to buy more Macross stuff. A friend knows I have my Earlier Edition YF-19 for sale. They ask about the paint wear on the die-cast parts. I offer to take some pictures of the wear. I take a few and notice that the leg to body joints are really lose. I loosen them years ago because I remember hearing something about too much tension on these parts. It has gotten even loser since. I decide to tighten it up just a bit. I don't wanna sale a friend a floppy Valk. Twist the screw tighter a little bit. Then I move the legs at the hips with light pressure. Wasn't light enough. This is what happened: Close up: I do have a newer 1/60 YF-19 so this wasn't my only YF-19 toy. This was my first Yamato. Don't know how to even fix it. Both opposite ends of the broken part are connected to Spring/Screws which puts tension on both ends. A super glued part is not going to hold together as good as solid part.

Well other than Macross I don't watch much anime. I compare Macross Frontier to other parts of Macross not other current shows. Nothing against a ton of Fan service, I'm just not looking for in Macross. It just cheapens the series by pandering it to the lowest common denominator. These mouse pads just encourage it. Who ever is granting licenses is just rubber stamping everything.

So are the raised parts for wrist comfort or something else? You could also talk about Lucy's topless scene in Macross + Movie. Plenty of brief moments in other Macross Series. Difference is in other Macross Series you got get a fan service scene. With Frontier it is Fan service throughout.

How long was Minmay's Shower scenes? DYRL you get a two second shot of her topless than she's dressed the rest of the time. In Frontier nude shots are just as quick but there is more side boob hour.

I'm just getting back in the game. Selling off my Version 1. Keeping my 1/48. Ordered the VF-11B Still trying to decide what I want next. Can afford maybe 2 or 3 more at that point my toy money reserves will be gone and nothing good to sale off. I will be forced to save penny by penny since I'm working less (not by choice). It will then take me 2 months to save up for each one. I will have to avoid buying new video games or action figures during that time. When I buy a New Toy I prefer that it isn't one that I already have. Even if it is a different Scale. It will not feel like a new toy. Liking VF-1J Hikaru cause it is a classic, the VF-1D because I never had one and it is unique with the double cockpit. Those were made before the shoulder fix. Max, Hayao and the upcoming Mass Production ones are post shoulder fix. Not interested in those characters too much. Like the Mass Production but already have one in 1/60 Might get a Tomahawk. Thing is I don't want to get screwed by shipping. Plan to buy two at once and hope for a combine shipping cost. Trick is finding two that I want sold by the same seller at a fair market price. I just know when I use up all my Macross money Yamato will announce a 1/60 Regult.

Among other my geeky hobbies is an interest in Role playing Games, particularly Science Fiction. Currently doing one with a partner. Trying to get more interested people. Just think of it as a chance to be Moderated by me at two different places. MACROSS GALAXY PATROL Galaxy Patrol is Mecha Game based in the Macross Universe. It uses the Mekton Zeta System. The Game is about an Aviation Museum Ship and the Student Pilots drafted to protect after an attack injured the regular pilots. We Play By Post at Macross RPG GALAXIES. Many Other Games to enjoy there too. Fan-Fiction Meets Dice! http://www.macrossroleplay.org/forums/index.php

You must like Mylene's Valk.

Just proves what I don't like about Macross F is true. They makes a series with plenty of characters and situations to appeal to every fetish can think of without being overt. Then they have merchandise that goes even further in that direction. All these things don't help Macross. Well they help make money. Studies show that guys like boobies. Show more boobies get more money. Fans of boobies aren't buying stuff about boobies since they are fans of Macross. They are buying boobies because they are fans of boobies.

I took a leap of faith and ordered one. I'm back in the game. Till I run out of funds.

Now I really want one. Gotta replace the first version.

I'm liking that zentradi group pic in color.

I've been saying up for new Valks. Close to reaching for maybe 3 of the lesser value one but this VF-11B is calling out to me. Any full reviews, cool pics of it, like a two handed grip on the gun pod? Is is pretty sturdy?

I was referring to the comment you were commenting on.

Btw the way Burger King Stuff is a joke. A member started a topic about no more Orange Drink at McDonald's in Canada. Since it was off topic I closed it. In my closing message I mention about how the Loaded Steak House Burger would be worthy of starting a topic. It was a joke. Which a couple of members here are running with.

Agreed. I'll remind people of Rule # 2 No graphic or vulgar descriptions/depictions of sex or sexual content.

I am I the only one who likes the VF-22S more but prefers the face of the YF-21? 2nd Member to Borrow from the Burger King line.

From what I read he had month and said "Shhh".

Spoiler ending - Even though I didn't stick around to see it. Dead Pool I guess survives after the credits even though his head was cut off.

This is almost gonna be as good as the Shadow Chronicles!

I like to follow the quote of Kawamori that's in the Compedium. That both Macross TV & DYRL are just two different versions of the same story. Even their version of DYRL in different from ours. Later Macross series say they are based on the TV's story but all the designs are from DYRL. Including the flash backs.

Just saw it. One Word Lame How about some more words. I will judge it by the continuity of the previous movies. I think it contradicts them. 1. Wolverine & Sabertooth are in Vietnam when they are recruited by Striker for a special team. Six years later is where the main story gets going. Scott is teenager back then. Okay Vietman ended in the mid 1970's right? Plus six years means the movie is takes place in the late 70's or early 1980's. Scott looks about 15 or 16 years old. The first X-men took place in the present or slight near future. Did the actor playing Scott in the first movie looked like he was 35? 2. You wouldn't know Wolverine & Sabertooh had such a history together from the first film. 3. Fans screamed when Gambit arrived. Do they realize if there ever is an X-men 4 that Gambit is going to look like a 60 year old man? 4. In the 2nd Movie we learned from Striker that Wolverine volunteered. Wolverine might not have always been a hero. In this movie he's the hero all the way. 5. Striker wants to capture and erase Wolverine's memories. He never gets to do that but he does shoot him in the head with admaniduim bullet. Striker doesn't capture him but the bullet ends up erasing the memories anyway. Movie was slow and like a bad made for cable movie with a big budget. Some CGI was pretty bad. Captain Picard makes a cameo. The younger CGI Picard. He only talks with his mind. Reason is not to show his power but because it would cost more to do the effect if his lip are moving. What I know about Deadpool is just from Wiki. If I was his fan I would be mad too. For a movie featuring people with claws it wasn't that bloody. More like PG. I think it got the PG-13 rating cause people said crap & you saw Jackman's Jackass. No one point at it and said crap though.

Wow should he really be proud of giving the Jackass host a sponge bath?
