I don't know if I want it. Looks neat.
  2. I would read it but Forbes doesn't like my ad blocker either. Sorry Forbes but my computer's health and freedom of not being assaulted spam is not worth it.

A screw fell out of my Spartan the day after handling it. I have no idea where the screw came from on it.
  4. You'd think after 20 years of fighting these nations of this alternative Earth would be out of resources to wage these air wars and building super weapons. This might be the game that gets me to buy a PS4.

Got mine yesterday. I'm late to the party but this Spartan is rad. At least that's after my 10 minute experience with it. Lot's of metal in nearly every joint. I didn't know you could bend the waist joint to make it taller. Can't wait to get the other 3 Destroids.
  6. Doesn't feel like a TV series set in the universe of the X-movies. Other than that line about the "X-Men and Brotherhood" and Marvel credit at the start I would have no idea there was connection. Looks more like another NBC's Heroes reboot. I would have hired a couple of the actors from the movies. Nobody super big. Just some of the supporting actors and put them in the new campus of Professor's X school. Then hire a bunch of young actors to play students.

What is going on with the USPS? I ordered SAL registered. This is first time when something I ordered cleared customs and arrive at my local post office the next day. It usually takes an extra 3 to 5 days. My Spartan is coming tomorrow.

Shipping notice from Ami Ami. Or I should say I got a tracking number that they'll be shipping it sometime in the future.

Mine's preordered with Ami Ami. Spartan is listed as in stock but no progress yet.
  11. Visually it looks great. The first one had great visuals too but was kind of slow and boring.
  12. I'll wait for it to come on Redbox. I know the Internet loved the first one but that was the one of movies where I really noticed I was having Super Hero movie burnout. In my younger days I know I demanded a super hero movie all the time but in hindsight I really did appreciate having to wait every 2 to 3 years.
  13. Don't know a thing about the books. The trailer looked like it was trailer for the coolest remake of the "Last Action Hero" that I've ever seen.
  14. I'd argue if it was the first Indiana Jones movie and we had nothing else to compare it too it's an "okay" movie. When set in the a world where the other 3 movies exist it make you go what the @#$%! Do you think they're going to CGI Indy's head on a stuntman's body like they did with Count Doku? At almost 75 years old I don't think they're going to go overboard with the cinematic fist fights.

Ugh this Messer VF-1S didn't even appear in any series. Did it?
  16. I wish I had some knock offs right about now. I picked up my VF-1D. I handle these toys like only once a year. I'm careful when handling them. I don't treat them like toys. I treat them like expensive collectables. This one got a crack on the shoulder pin. I then examined all of my 1/60 and found a crack on Hikaru's Armored VF-1J too. Didn't have them the last time I took them out of the display case. Makes me mad these are starting to break just by standing still on display. If I had a knock off it would be a source for spare parts.
  17. You make a good point. The value of a popular and out of production toys will sky rocket on the 2nd hand market. Whenever there's a reissue everyone planning to resell their spares on eBay get's piss because it no longer rare and valuable. Reissues for the most part don't price match with the 2nd hand market. Reissues hurt the resellers. A good reason for a high pricing is that Arcadia makes them in very limited numbers. Very possible as their target customers likely already has plenty of Yamatos as it is. Another reason is that you're helping them pay off some business loans.
  18. Too late for me to get excited about them. Took them way too long.
  19. Actually to me it felt like a bad campaign. Good roleplaying experiences involve having fun. You don't have fun with everyone trying to make the most gritty and humorless character. The fun happens when players don't create clones and act off each other. If every player is true to their character's gritty and humorless personality the game becomes boring. The other way the fun happens is when players make a major mistake that technically should end the game early but everyone decides to continue and laugh as they make a disaster even worst. Characters with personalities or a players willing to use humor to entertain each other creates more experiences that you remember. Rogue One was pretty much a Roleplaying adventure played by the dullest group of players. Just because it was a war doesn't mean it needed to lack personality. Hollywood made a ton of gritty war movies involving characters death and still had interesting characters with personalities.

Was finally able to get Milia 3 days after I was suppose to get her. She sure is red! I think I like the red from the 1/48 more it is richer and feels like it matches the screen better. This new red is bright.
  21. These might be good to get for the simple reason that over time if you keep handling and transforming the real deal is going to get loose joints, prone to break and will show signs of wear. You can play with a KO all you want without fear of damaging it while your real stuff sits harmlessly on display.

I showed them the tracking number. They were able to track down that the driver was there that day. I was able to pick up other mail from my box. Every mail box has the occupant's last name printed inside. I'm going to get it one way or the other next week. If I never used this tracking number I could easily assume it was still on route. They might have shipped it back to Japan where it would be put up for sale again and I would have lost it to Sh9000.
