  1. I had no idea the cockpit on a Tread was in the literal nose of the mecha. Maybe that explains why Treads were so rare (kinda easy to kill with a head-on shot)?
  2. maybe. What I hope is how they show Pike still grieving into next season...
  3. You need to at least watch MASH. It's a show that everyone on the planet can relate to, morally or humoral speaking.
  4. I have not yet watched this series yet (between the clips i see on YT and the comments here, i remain uncommitted). As for the use of nuclear weapons, wasn't the end of the fourth Alien film set on a destroyed land scape (possibly Paris, France, depending on the application of Deleted scenery or not)? likely the home world will be nuked... what would be funny? Someone the Octo-Eye is currently driving is the one that pushes the button.
  5. i watched Trekyard's YT post about this episode and i asked if the USA flag could or would be changed edited based on the country or region the episode is aired in?
  6. as long as he makes enough to bank role Alita II (please!!!!!!)
  7. all valid points. The gold armor was... it was funny (hilarious AF) in the singing episode... but seeing that as away attire, i swear someone on the production staff are closeted fans of FIVE STAR STORIES, so much gold.... Oh I leveled up. Does becoming a Pineapple Eater mean i have to start making my Dex saves more often?
  8. Watched Episode 3... the only dislike is the gold bling these particular Klingons wear. Other than that, very good episode. Anyone wants to guess that Ortega leaves Star Fleet (as opposed to normal way Red Shirts leave)?
  9. hmm... is that a IRL aspect of how drones are used in services (like the Globe Hawk)? or this a SYB2202 rational: They literally don't have the crews to fully man those Class-D ships...?
  10. Seto: Where is it stated that the Destroid Cheyenne II's on the MQ and ME-class ships are drone/slaved to a Fire Control system on the ships?
  11. when Macross Frontier was being made, was it the 2nd Iraq war that was the source of some of those ideas around PMC troops? or was it the mercenary contractors made infamous during that war that caught the MF writers's eye?
  12. I skimmed through MF Eps1 and was disappointed. It seemed even more edited than the version i seen on disc or the original 'debew version' i 'acquired' from possibly here... actually i think someone back on the boat got it and i copied the file, eons ago. I have not actively looked for macross on Roku. Is Macross actively blocked on various sources?
  13. That means, in theory, The Squire episode won't happen later, once TOS starts (which is fine, there's been enough Time follies enough to Justify it). Ill wait patiently for that information on those ships appear on Ex Astris Scientia - Bernd Schneider's Star Trek Site My wife (who is NOT a Trekkie in any form otherwise) would disagree that S3E2 was boring
  14. Here's a idea about the UNMC: Are they supposed to be ground-based ie Destroids and Regults?
  15. Maybe so but that personality flaw is nothing compared to Jimmy Swaggart (who also passed this week, to the delight of many). Condolences to the Shooter estate, at least.
  16. *raises hand* When, in terms of what episode, does Deedra get that file (dealing with Death Star). Was this detail in the story one of those force Choked devices that occurred because Andor was compressed from 4 or 5 seasons to 2?
  17. What's worse? It wasn't an April Fool's Joke. it's legit. Now i can understand WHY Catalyst did it (a blantant Fly Paper trap for GW players). That seems a bold strategy... I just... I hope politics (financial or otherwise) helps slow the idea down...
  18. Time Stamp 3:03 I hope the driver was not WATCHING an episode... but this is 'murica (..."It's our Damn Right to watch whatever the %$#^ we want to, whenever the *&^% we want to...") 😕
  19. well that's 7 minutes that i might want back... 06:40 makes me think it Wants to be a Warhammer IIC with a TZ-III Bundle the size of an AC-20....
  20. yes, someone who is into civilian model flying planes created mockups of the VF-1... but that still does replicate the real thing... with all the bells whistles that Seto mentioned, these miniature planes still dont fully replicate the flight. No front slats no proper flaps that extend, no aspects in how those upper inlets affect flight (do they actually close in flight?) these are concepts i wonder if anyone has done in Wind Tunnels? I look over my shoulder to a anime wall scroll i bought back when i was working/living the Ventura area in the early 2000s, of a VF-1J looking at it from the Pilots 5 oclock (sans the UNSPACY Kite) and that art IS flying... IDK. I guess I'm having Old fart moments...
  21. I'm having a lazy Saturday night, my wife & minion & The Pants are out & about and I'm listening to random and subscribed YT stuff, when I'm not playing DDO. This YT is renown for his F-14 RIO knowledge and tonight's topic on when the F-14 program got DFCS installed made me think: Has anyone done a proper, actually took the time to think 'Can It Fly?' look at the VF-1 (maybe the VF-0, which looks more like a design that would fly... like a brick) on DCS or similar? I'm not talking video games, which do NOT replicate flight characteristics (just X/Y/Z axis on a static image) but the various popular flight sims that gained traction and functionality in the past 5 years...?
