I believe the next movie will involve the villan, Brainiac. Spoiler Warning. Brainiac in some versions of Superman (particuarly the animation Superman) is a Kryptonian supercomputer gone bad. It decided that it needed to collected all knowledge of a planet and then destroy it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainiac_%28comics%29 So here's my theory as to why we'll probably see Brainiac. They never resolved what happened to the six crystals of Kryptonian technology that went into outer space. The crystal was a form of supercomputer for Superman. One of them was corrupted in a way by Luthor when it was surrounded with green kryptonite. The Kryptonite land mass was still growing in the air despite having no source of water. A lot of speculation, I know, but it could happen.

Hmnn.. It'll be nice if someone made a checklist of all Yamato Macross items out of this. It might just become useful for Lord Kungfu as he goes through his massive inventory. Also can you make the list more inclusive. Missing are the VB-6 Monster, VF-0, Queadluun-Rau, and the stand.

There is a possiblity that the wide fuselage is meant to accomindate a larger cockpit. If they can pull off the the 360 degree cockpit with rotating seat, I wouldn't mind it. Still I also agree that the gun, canard wings and leg fins are too small. They can easily be enlarged without hurting the tranformation or the dimensions of the other modes. Is it just me or does the battloid mode look as if it's been kicked in the groin with his feet still planted, as in the cartoons? Here's my crappy photoshop work

No, there is no visible difference on the box. They really should put a sticker on it saying edited or something. You can get lucky I suppose or go hunting for the first generation on eBay. As far as what's missing on the DVD: There are 6 songs & 2 news skits that are missing. I finally scrounged up the money for this DVD box set. Unfortunately I didn't know there are two versions of this set. The first batch came out with the full content. The second batch are edited with missing skits, songs, etc.. like the Vincent Price episode: "You've Got a Friend". This is cut out due to music copyright issues. So buyer beware.

According to my Korean friend, one of the reasons for it being so wired is due to the popularity of Starcraft. The game was so addicitive, easy to play and deep in play that it spread like wirefire. Tournaments cropped up and now my friend claims that the best Starcraft players are no longer in the West but now in Korea. PC Bangs (Cafes) with starcraft gaming became was in such high demand that an infrastructure in Korea came about. He told me that even the girls were also very skilled at starcraft, that when you bought a new PC it came automatically with starcraft installed and food packages had starcraft advertised on it. Other games like Lineage, Counterstrike WOW , WC and Age of Empires 2 followed suit. He claimed that these games helped teach english. But he also claimed despite learning some english it hasn't helped their online etiquette. Due to this gaming onslaught there has been a trickle down of cultural behavior. His mom now Instant Messenges him on a daily basis and is quite tech savvy compared to women of her age here. You can agree with him or disagree. I just found his story interesting.
