Well keeping the 1/60 YamaCadias is still a reasonable thing to do. The Bandai DX release schedule is materializing at such a glacial pace that you could never have the entire line as quickly as the 1/60 V2. Sure the DX is sometimes hard to obtain but that never stopped anyone from trying to get the complete series. Nowadays it seems space is the issue. Money not so much as that resource is always funneled elsewhere when DX availability is scarce. Having all scales is fun but time and space just making harder to collect.

I am. But I never worry about it. They always slower but never fail on delivery.

They were. But I didn’t remember the SC figure prototype. The rest of the VF were just added in there to refresh my mind.- 1588 replies

Found pic on the Mexico Macross Fans FB page. I thought MEP Toys was the only company doing Southern Cross figures. Or at least toying with the idea.- 1588 replies

Kitz Concept Robotech Toy Line
nightmareB4macross replied to kajnrig's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Sorry can’t sleep. So after looking at the picture again, I noticed the shoulder joints are not the Yamato/Arcadia type any longer. They appear to be DX style. Makes me wonder if the slide mechanism is now available on these. KC is really upping their game. If these changes are going to be available on new releases, then it would be hard not to consider adding this to any collection. Hopefully they correct the crummy hip connector for fighter mode.- 1588 replies

Not sure, but it looks like they are adding metal feet as well. Here’s the original prototype with plastic feet. NEVERMIND, feet are metal on first release. These are probably just primed.- 1588 replies

Going with a 1S custom works really with the Hikaru paint scheme. Awesome job!

Cool. Time to get some more figures. Did you guys notice KC is now showing an updated version of their VF-1, with Bandai style hips. Second pic is for reference of the first version as reviewed by Jenius at Anymoon.- 1588 replies

Congratulations Roberto and Ted!! You both did an amazing job on these kits. -
Not publicizing the KC editions. Just wanted to point out that they seem to be coming out with a version 2 of their VF-1 using the Bandai DX hips. Shoulder are also similar to DX and no longer Yamato/Arcadia type.

Base on pictures from the last event, it could be any one of the Skull Squadron.

Hi Chris, Will this list separate the official licensed products, GK licensed from BW, GK unlicensed (bootlegs or 3P) and straight out recast bootlegs of official kits and unofficial kits, and finally 3D printed unofficial products from many individuals in production. It just gets so confusing nowadays that many of us would like to know what is “official” and how we can better support true Macross/BW products. I know I am guilty of buying recasts sometimes without even knowing until it’s too late. For example, I bought a 1/48 UD Kit years ago from a seller who stayed the product was official, but late came to discover it was an e2046 release. All the parts are well done, but I was really hoping for the original.

Nice pics everyone! Here a little something... I was trying to fit the Bandai arm cannon on the YF-19 from Arcadia and it turned out better than I thought. The arm cannon does not attach to the arm like it should because of the slots and pegs on the Bandai. But if you origami this into a small packet on the back of the packet a small handle will makes itself available and so the Arcadia can hold the pack to give a distinct weapon. I thought it worked out pretty well. -
Try contacting XSToys. I believe he was the winner of that auction.

Arcadia 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-0D for 2015
nightmareB4macross replied to Dark_Ghost's topic in Toys
ArchiNov, So the color was correct all along. It just needed to be properly weathered to achieve what we always saw in the anime. Could you get a shot of the VF-0D and the SV-51y together. Congrats to you and your customizer. Job well done! -
Gatsu, That is such an incredible build! The details and weathering are fantastic!

Soooo glad I never bought any of the Evo Toys. This Legioss looks really amazing and the new take on the cockpit really solved the issues of the elongated nose profile when in soldier mode. I hope this line is a success and we get to see a Tled down the line. Just not too far off. Pretty excited about this release.
