They are very solid figures. The joins are stiff and the quality build is top notch. Great material used and paint apps are crisp. The mini figures are all kinds of adorable.

These were KOd to death. First release was called “Wave 2”. 😁

Looks like they are removable. This picture also shows a lot of great surface detail. Really hope this gets released.

You kiddos are going to love opening these up on Christmas. Mine wants a nice chess set and the other wants, well, not sure yet. They, 11 & 16, saw these and all they said was “Cool those are cute.” My 11 YO played with it and really liked it.

If the newer versions or the DX VF-25 re-renewals are finished like this, we’ll then, count me in. Bandai has their hooks in me.

I wonder why Arcadia boasted that hollow cannons were such a big deal to their re-released version. But I guess it’s the silly little changes that keep us coming back for more. 😆

I hope we get to see the full underbelly. I fear the gaps found at the knees on the Yamacadia could also be present in this Bandai. -

You might make better version if you switch the heads. I agree New Age’s is great but the body on Magic Square is pretty clean and very toon like. New Age seems to have taken cues from Fans Toys, which isn’t a bad thing.- 9275 replies

I really hope they release this as a 1/60 scale. It would be a bit larger than the 1/100ish VF-1.

Pretty cool. I agree, paint is definitely the way to go.

I feel you. Might be good to pick up a backlit glass to cut out the decals. The light helps you see the outlines better. Or use glasses, a magnifying glass and learn to hold your breath while cutting, and concentrate on keeping a steady hand. I know I do.😂 Looking forward to the pics.
